Why don't you have more games?

I know me. I can collect a storm. In the short time I have been back at this hobby, I started with 3 games and now I have 20. I am planning to top out at 60. Then I will look into pins..

My main thing is not having the room to have a proper game room. And also the market in my area seems way overpriced for my wallet. People in my area seem to think that if they have pacman/galaga/etc.. that they are sitting on a goldmine.

Space and money for me.

with 70+ 3 of my friends have awesome game houses:D

i only have room to fix them at home. then they get sent to a friends house or back to storage:(

but i enjoy the hobby its fun ant time consuming.

Peace

Money, other hobbies compete with it, and I'm a little trigger shy on buying something I won't play the hell out of.

Mine is simple. No one plays them... I had a small room with about 7 games and removed them and turned the room back into an office that I can work out of.

First thing that stopped me was my son being born last December. Now I'm moving to Norway for two years. Looks like games are on hold for a while now. I probably should sell off my projects too...

No matter how big a space you have, there will always be that one more game you wish you could fit in.

CA is the land of overpriced games, so it takes me longer to find what I want for what I want to pay.

So in short, my answer is location.

I don't have any games because I have no room for anything. Maybe if we got rid of the rolltop desk that we keep hats in...

Lets face it. Its always about the money.

If you have enough money, you can buy a nice building to fill with as many games as you want.

If you have enough money, you can find a female who will put up with your obsession.

If you have enough money, you can do anything you want.

Unfortunately, I'm broke. :(

Robot Ron hit the nail on the head. Really, you can feel like you have plenty of $$ but all you have to do is expand your horizons, and you are broke again.

I will add, with enough scratch, you can also pay someone to restore and maintain your games as well.

Really? I see so much stuff listed just on here that I never even see in Florida and lots of games for good prices. Is it just that you are in a remote area of CA maybe? Just sayin' from what I see there are plenty of games in CA and plenty of deals but it is a big state so maybe it is just your location and not all of CA. ;)

Space and money...none of this wife shit, I have these things called balls and not only that, mutual respect means I don't have to justify my spending unless it's causing a problem paying the bills(and never does).
