Why doesn't this forum have a "Restorations" section?

To: Moderator Minions

Subject: Recommendations and Feedback from our pee-on membership

Let it hereby be decreed that any request or recommendation from the pee-ons suggesting that KLOV should in anyway adopt or copy what is happening over on BYOAC should be ignored with extreme prejudice.

We are not in the business of entertaining good ideas adopted by other forums, period. Who do they think they are anyway? If they want change, we'll give them change....BWAHAHAHA.......we must redouble our efforts to Moderate the hell out of every last ounce of humor and deviant behavior that makes KLOV unique and interesting.

Our goal will be complete, bland, non-offensiveness and resistance will be met with arbitrary actions followed up with meaningless editorializing. If that don't shut them up, I will start posting excessively worded and restrictive rules on posting about prices, that should get them.

Now go forth and moderate.

it would be cool to have a separate forum on that, for archiving, but maybe the restoration posts could be mirrored into the main forum... not that i'm lazy, but it'd kinda be a pain in the ass to look at all the different forums, (monitors, repair, chat, main, etc etc).

This is Klov, the killing and looting of video games, not some whack place where collectors actually restore games. Are you new around here ? Seriously, there should be a place for before and after pics.

Build your own arcade controlls is far worse for chopping games.

Maybe if klov had a restoration page people would see that it can be cool to restore a game not just chop it up.

It was already actually something I was looking to address on Monday... unrelated to any posts today. I had wanted to let the forum structure settle down a tad first since when I had moved the sections around everyone got jostled by the changes. The timing worked fine since we were busy with some vaps stuff etc. anyway.

As for the other sites... I see no harm no foul. We post BYOAC links here all the time... same with coinopspace...

I know about that. It is pretty much the only section I really read there. My comment is that site is pretty much for mame and their are far more games being chopped up there for mame than here. Example was that stargate that was recently posted here.

I have no issue with other forums I use them all and they have a purpose. I have used rgvac almost since it started. The restoration section is awsum at arcade controls but I think it would be awsume here to...
