Why does the image not go all the way to the right on my G07?

I had this G07 in my Centipede and I thought it was working perfectly. I put it in a 60 in 1 and the image does not fill all the way to the right. And plus of what you can see on the right looks squished compared to the rest of the display.

I tried all the adjustment pots on the rear and this is the best I could get it.

Does your G07 chassis have the "sync upgrade" on it? My guess is that it does not.....

So this is the sync upgrade?

-First.. remove C501 & chuck it out.
-Second.. remove C303 & place it in the holes for C501 & solder.
-Third.. clean the solder from the hole between the 2 holes where C303 was removed & fill in the one furthest from the chassis edge with solder.
-Fourth.. put a 10 to 22uf @ 25 volt minimum in the now closer together holes at C303 with the longer positive lead going thru the hole closest to the edge of the chassis PCB & solder.
-Fifth.. after reinstallation of the chassis adjust the H hold for a center point without the curl.

Yes that is the upgrade, but it may be much simpler....have you tried moving the "V cent" jumper wire?

Believe me, I've tried the V. Lin pot. I've tried moving the V cent wire also, but that just makes it worse.

Does the v pot adjust it at all? If not, the pot could be bad. I can't remember if the sync upgrade helps in the vertical position, or the horizonal position? Maybe one the gurus know? Or else check out Bob Roberts site, he has a pretty good description of the whole thing as I recall? But if the chassis is fine with your centipede game, and off with that newer jamma pcb, my bet is on the sync mod. G07 aren't set up to be compatible with the new pcbs, hence the need for the upgrade.

Took the chassis out only to realize that the sync mod was already done.
Put it back together and did a bunch of tweaking and got it to look a little better. The right side is not shrunken anymore, but there is still a small gab on the right side.
I can live with it.

Thanks!

I have had that same problem with G07's and the 60 in 1 boards. I have never found a solution to the problem...I could usually get it close, but never real good.

Same here. My Qix has a 60-in-1 board in it and its original G07 monitor with some Qix burn. Same issues. Chassis has been recapped, new fly, curl mod done, and it still looks kinda crappy due to the slight distortion and sizing issues. One of these days I'll swap out the G07 with something else. Just been too lazy to deal with it so far.
