Warning: Possible Spoilers!

To start playing Mass Effect 2? Damn, awesome game so far. I am really liking the changes, for me the best changes are the fact that you have to pickup ammo and the armor upgrades are easier to manage. Mass Effect 1's system of installing upgrades on individual team members was cumbersome compared to ME2. Its hard to go to work, come home and have to wait for the kids to go to bed so I can play.

The story so far is great. I just got to the first battle with the Collectors, they are pretty easy to take down. I find myself wishing that I chose a Male Shepherd versus a female, I guess I will have to play back through ME1 and then ME2 before ME3 comes out next year. I play ME as a pure Paragon.

One interesting change is you don't have to talk to your team members after every single mission. In ME1 you had to talk to them after every primary and secondary mission just to make sure you don't miss part of the story. I'm betting Miranda hates me for asking her if she wants to talk after every mission LOL. Not sure what to think of Cerberus right now, I know I hated them in ME1 for the crap they pulled.

Great game. I liked the inventory changes, but didn't like the cover system/planet exploration changes.

ME3 is the only game I have pre-ordered.

I just need to figure out who I loaned part 1 and 2 to.

I have both for my 360 and I still haven't finished the 1st one, let alone even started the second one.

I have this problem...I buy too many games below the $10 mark, so I've got games I've never even so much as looked at (over 100 for the 360).
I'll get to them all...one day.

I'll get to them all...one day.

No you won't. I've been doing that exact thing since the SNES. That said, I still have SNES games I never finished...and it's happened with each system since then. I keep saying I'll finish them one day, but...

I probably get about 5 games for every 1 I actually finish. That said, I will finish Mass Effect 3.

I finished Mass Effect 2 last night! What an awesome game, it had me yelling when the Normandy took down the collector ship, good thing I am playing in my basement away from everyone else! I cannot wait for ME3. I played with a female Shephard, now I will be playing #1 and #2 again this time as a male Shephard. It took me 41 hours to complete ME2. I hit pretty much every mission including the secondaries.

Sounds about right, it took me 45 for 1 and 42 for 2.
