Why can't I find the correct T-molding for my DK Jr?

Is there a reason a blade and a small handle costs $84?

I agree, it's pretty crazy....look at what the "notchers" cost.

Kinda like my $125 crimpers......and that was no where near the most expensive.

Stuff sold as industrial equipment is just stupid expensive....

Damn.

I wish I had known about this tool a couple days ago when I applied vinyl to my mame cabinet. I used drywall razors to get close and then trimmed with a router+flush trim bit. What a mess.

For that price I think I'll pick one up as you make a great point... this would be kickass to install full side art that isn't cut to size, etc...

Ya know, seeing this thread is wild... just last night, I went to strip off all of the T-molding on my Centuri Phoenix cab and discovered that - holy shit - the slot is off-center all the way around! I already ordered 40 ft from T-Molding.com... damn... it's disappointing to discover this.

Since I am the antithesis of "Tool Time Tim" there is no way I can do a nice job filling and then re-routing the slot... it will turn out like ass. So I guess I'll have to settle with off-center. Story of my life, I'm telling ya.

FYI...The offset molding for Centuri cabinets is avaliable...Arcade Shop stocks it...13/16th black offset.

Thank you for this tip, Edward... I emailed the guy...

Hoping I can return the t-molding I bought from t-molding.com...

Thanks for the centuri info guys. I have a phoenix cab to restore and I would have made the same mistake as you, rotgut.

80$ for a blade when you can buy a good quality router and 1/16 slot bit and arbor for that price and you can use it over and over again. and really its simple you set the depth of the router follow the curve of the cab and really the only area you have to be concerend with it the last inch of the cut. either turn the router off while its in the grove or pull straight out. if you go up or down you will chunk the wood.
cutting the tmolding with a blade will look sloppy, you can tell me you will hardly notice it. but i guarantee i would notice. my background in body shops makes every little f*ckup jump out at me.
and use bondo wood filler is for arts and crafts shit.

I am glad I read this too. I was just about to fill the groove in my Track & Field tonight with bondo. Need to order some for my Phoenix as well.

I have one of those coming any day myself, so thanks for the feedback. I'm no t-molding expert at this point, so I don't know what you're talking about when you refer to larger/thicker vs. thinner. Would you mind explaining?
