I vaguely remember Playchoice-10 machines. They are on a timer right? If I have an expansive NES collection, is there a reason to have a Playchoice-10?

1. It's an arcade machine that can have 10 different games on it at once
2. Can be set to free play (Infinite time)
3. Nice display, PPU in Playchoice has RGB output
4. They're just cool!

The best, you can switch games without having to put them in, take them out, put them in, and hope it works. You hit a button and it works.

Pc10

I got a pc10 and I love the machine it one game that will always stay in my collection. Also I have a big collection of Nes games to. Witch is also fun to have. With the PC 10 holding 10 games it takes up a lot less space the 10 cabs.

If you want an NES with arcade controls and monitor that can easily switch between 10 games, then yes, it's awesome.

If you just want to play NES games, it's not really worth having if you have limited space. It takes seconds to swap out a cart on an NES and I like playing with original controls like how I remember playing as a kid.

I don't have anything against them, but I probably will never own one unless I found one for a steal. I've always been fond of the tabletop one but rarely see those for sale. Not sure how many tabletop versions were produced.

I have one but my father gave it to me,he's no longer with us so it will be mine til i pass, seriously.Another cool thing is you can not only play NES but you can play galaga and other with burnt roms http://www.ebay.com/itm/180445418673?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 so really you can have anything you want in there.I enjoy pulling up a stool and bangin' out an hour or so on pinbot with a joystick much better than playing the NES.

Pretty much this ^^^^

My neighbor has a non-working one in his back storage, and I'm so un-interested in the machine I haven't even asked if he's interested in selling it.

They are also currently kind of the flavor of the month. They used to be pretty cheap when I first got into the hobby and now a nice one is $600+.

I bought a single monitor PC a few months ago. It came with extra game carts and a bought a few more carts (enough to few another PC). I like playing this arcade a lot that I bought another PC that is a dual monitor for my extra game carts.
You can even get a NES adapter and a powerpak so u can play all the games you want on your PC.

I play the oringial Metroid and Zelda on the NES on my mame cab almost every day... I can speed run through them. It's just fun =) I would be one of those peeps who would love a PC-10. I couldn't really justify spending a lot of money on one however.

I have never been looking to get a PC-10 but if one came my way for a steal, yeah, I would probably pick it up.

I snagged my counter top one at the Portland Convention last year for real cheap. The only thing that worked was the fact that it powered up. All the buttons were wired wrong and took some time to get it figured out.
Don't know why it is so cool to have, but I love playing on it. I own every game ever made for the PC10 on NES cart form, but still play the PC10 a lot.

I see it in your pic. Nice. I would want one of those if I could find it for a steal. It's more of a collector piece and would be great for my Nintendo collection. Plus, it solves the limited space issue. Awesome grab!

Yeah, this is pretty much me too...but several years into it. I have a single monitor one in the house, a dual in the garage, another single monitor kit that I will probably put into something again for my office, a box full of carts, and I have the NES adapter with a PowerPak loaded up with roms. The funny part is, I never remember playing this back in the day!

I always thought PC10 should have been based on "player performance" rather then a timer. isn't every other arcade game like that?? The longer you can survive the longer you can play!! Not PC10

you already have a NES so grab that PC10 and easily convert it to a Punch out or better yet Super Punch out. Then your talking!! The top monitor on a PC10 was completely useless anyways

1. you can set it free play(don't like the timer? turn it off)
2. You can put 10 games in the thing and put it in the corner(space saver)
3. The Goonies.(It never appeared on a NES in NA)
4. Alot of us really like NES games(me included)
5. You don't have to constantly blow out carts
6. Unlike custom NES cabs it appeared in convenience stores and arcades making it an official arcade NES
