Jamma boards sells these for $139.95 and Paradise Arcade sells them for $50 . Whats the difference between theses boards ?

About 6 months ago there was a big price drop on these boards after slowly going down over a period of years. Also, there is a whole concept of A vs B quality boards, etc. So historically that quality level set the different price points.

My guess is at this point JammBoards probably has old stock that they bought a while back and have to sell at the higher price point. But Paradise Arcade is selling more recently made boards that were stocked after the major price drop.

I have seen no difference between the old boards and the new.. The B boards didnt support trackball, but they may have corrected that now? Last 10 boards I bought were cheap!!

The paradise board accepts dual trackball and should say so on thier site. I bought a board from them and was very pleased with the performance. I would not pay the extra from Jammaboards.

I really like Cajun Arcade, too. The guy is super nice and professional.

if you wanna drop a little bit more money, I just got one of these this morning and it makes Pacman on the 60-1 look AWESOME. Doesn't work with ArcadeSD or JROK, though. Ordering is done from BYOAC

I was checking out one of those scan line generators . I was thinking with a PC CRT and scan line generator , you can pretty much get it to look like an old arcade monitor . I haven't tried it yet but it seems like it would work well and make putting a 60n1 in gutted cab very easy .

The guy doing the project, Aaron, is very knowledgable and easy to communicate with. I'm sure he could give you tips on how and if it can be accomplished.

I actually tried this out recently on my 60 in 1 that uses a pc crt monitor and honestly, it doesn't add that much to the authenticity and doesn't quite look right with the lines being vertical. Haven't tested on horizontal games yet for my other cabinet though, which will hopefully look better.

Thanks for the feedback .

I won't bother then if it doesn't really look that great . It just seemed like a simple cheap setup to try .

I mean, it doesn't look horrible, but if I had bought my slg3000 just for that purpose, i would have felt like I wasted $70. I guess if there are cheaper ones out there, it might be worth messing around with.

How about a shop where i can get a good 4-Way joystick , New CP Overlay and a $50 60n1 PCB , all from the same place to save on shipping .
