Why am I still buying games. Just bought another CPS2

All I wanted at first was a Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga cocktail table. I still still don't have that. Instead I have 3 arcades and just ordered another one today.

Just the game boards, nothing else.
Capcom CPS2 A board + X-Men Vs. SF B board (Blue)

He sold it to me for $50 plus $20 shipping. $70 bucks total. Not something I was looking for, but figured it was a good deal so I shouldn't pass it up. He said it was working fine, hasn't suicided yet. I went ahead and ordered a couple of batteries from BestByte for $1.89 each. Bought 2 batteries with 1st class mail, cost $7 bucks even.

I gotta stop this. I don't even like fighting games.

BTW, in an effort to get control over this problem, I'm trying to dump one of my Z-Back cabs. Is it priced right? I might make it a flat $300 if I include the CPS2 X-Men SF I just bought. Perfect match for the control panel and the marquee. Only problem is no working monitor. Such a shame, big 25" WG monitor that worked briefly, but now doesn't work at all.

Yeah, found the link in another thread. If you need CPS2 batteries to prevent your board suiciding, these seem like a cheap way to go. I debated putting in the keystone battery holder to make swapping batteries out faster, but really, every 5 years to do about 2 minutes of soldering is no big deal. The risk I figured with the keystone battery holder is that the battery could pop loose if the arcade is bumped, or not make good contact or corrode the contact which is a common problem in salty air high-humidity areas like here in Hawaii, and in either case would suicide my boards.

2 minutes of soldering every 5 years for a $1.89 battery is no big deal. I just need to remember to put a sticker on the arcade to remind me when to replace the battery again.
