Id like to do a custom marquee on my area 51 project. This was just a site4, but i added an area 51 maximum force duo boardset as well. So instead of a duo, i guess its a trio now hehe!

Im thinking something like this:
attachment.php

But i have no idea how to get high res scans of the marquees nor do i have the photochop skills to pull it off properly. Would be cool if there was a "trio" in there somewhere or something..

It would be nice also to have a smaller size version with some sort of switch graphic/hole in the middle and id make that a sticker. That way the average joe would have more of a clue how to switch between games, as i have setup a toggle switch to switch inbetween games on this area 51/maxumum force/ area 51:site4 trio.

If I get all of the scans, I'll make it for you. My quote for that is $20.

the kicker is the wife has photochop but i dont have a clue on how to use it Or where t6o get high res scans of these marquees. I used picturemerge freeware or something to make the "prototype/idea" image you see above.

Whoops, typo. Fixed that. The scans don't have to be high res, just enough to make a vector from them. I'd rasterise it then.

Lol.. i had the same thought :)

BEHOLD! the digital barf bag!

I think im going to see if my scanner will pickup enough detail to make nice scans.. then see if i can figure out how to put them togther to get one imagve of each marquee.. then figure out how to merge those lol.. should be fun. Epic trainwreck to follow.

Now that i try to upload these scans, im getting that b.s. " security token missing"
error message i have encountered in the past. FML

ANybody know where i can buy some damn security tokens? :D

There is the duo part i was talking about. WOuld be cool if that piece was in the center but said trio instead or something

In all seriousness... there's no reason to vectorize this.

Most of the photo effects were rendered 3d graphics to start and likely never were vector to begin with.

The Area 51 logo, the Site 4 logo, and the Maximum Force logo can easily be done without leaving photoshop. There are high res scans of arcade flyers to pull artwork from to use in the background. Most of the background effects can be easily duplicated with little effort.

Not trying to undercut jr. pac or be a dicklord... but this is about 15 or 20 minutes of work for someone who knows what they are doing. I wouldn't charge $30 for this.

What I can say is that rasterized vectors (at a high DPI) create a much nicer end result. Much sharper and colors are more even. Different people, different methods.

Please check my post, I corrected it to $20.
