Who's going to Auction Arcade Game Sales this weekend in Kingsport

I opened up one of the blue totes I got for $20.00 this afternoon and after digging through the things on top I found around fifty joy sticks. I think I am set for joy sticks for awhile..

I ended up skipping all the stuff up front. I was in the back checking out the driving games before the auctioneers got to them.

I was wondering what the Ronald McDonald sold for.

I ended up with 7 games:

2 Need 4 Speed Undergrounds (Need for Speed converted cabs)
Warzaid
Johnny Nero
Beach Head 2000/2002
Madden NFL
Crisis Zone

I had to get a buddy to take the Crisis Zone back for me.

I really wanted the Naomi convert a cab that had the Soccer game in it. The cabinet was nice but it went for way more than I thought it would.

I also 'had' the first Tekken 5 that was auctioned for $500. Then, two of the auctioneers thought their man was the high bidder at $500. So they restarted the auction allowing just myself and the other guy to bid. I let it go after $600 something. It was the nicer of the three that was there.

Ronald went for $1,050.00. I had my eye on him but not for that much........

It was nice meeting you, and that johnny nero was in very very nice shape, good score on that one!

I picked up "Fishermans Bait", "Soul Edge", Cruisin USA, and Cruisin World. The fishermans bait had an error message on screen, saying it was missing a "security cassette", got it home, opened it up, and sure enough, a little blue cartridge was laying in the bottom of the cab. I popped it back into the konami motherboard (which I have never seen one of these before, the game actually runs off of a cd rom!) and the game fired right up. Five bucks well spent right there! The Soul Edge wouldnt power up originally, I dropped in a different power supply, and it powers up but the monitor needs recapped, its only showing red. The Crusin Usa was just an upright conversion that I bought for the monitor, and as I was loading everything up, I noticed a Cruisin World sitting by itself on the floor with a "no bid" label on it. I asked about it and was told no one bid on it, and If I wanted it, it was mine! So I loaded it up too. The label on it states that it works, but needs a monitor, I've yet to check on it, I may take the monitor out of cruisin usa and pop it in there and have a nice dedicated sit down that I can swap boards on. As far as the rest of the auction, I had a good time, met quite a few klovers, and hung around with dreamtr watching some of the stuff go for ridiculous prices!

The funny thing about Tekken 5 is the one that went for the least amount was the one that was actually updated to Dark Resurrection, lol
