Who's going to Auction Arcade Game Sales this weekend in Kingsport

Aside from me and DreamTR(from another post) who is officially going to the auction in Kingsport. The question was posed on another post so I thought I would bring it out where everyone might see. I know I and my 5-6 East TN/SW VA buddies will be there, anyone else going to try to make it.

I was going to go, but I have a football jamboree type thing that starts at 12 that's about 2 hours away and I have to go take pics...sucks because KPT is right in my back yard.

anyone who has not been to this auction is really missing the king of all auctions. I have been probably 8 times and I live in Indiana, over 400 miles away. I have always came home with a trailer load. They usually sell a ton of parts, pieces, boards and pretty much everything that is anything for the arcade world. They always have a good assortment of the vintage stuff as well as modern. Touchscreens, sit downs, pinballs, jukes, redemtion, pool tables, air hockey, bill exchangers, cranes, kiddie rides, snack & coke machines, kitchen items. You name it they sell it. Has dwindled a bit as far as quantity goes but still have 2 rings going for at least a good 10 hours or so. They are stand up people too and very honest. I have not noticed any of the auctioneers running up the bids or counting a "ghost bid" Usually have one or both auctioneers that are on the Auction Kings show on Discovery channel. I love going there and strongly recommend it for anybody within a 600 miles radius.

Man this is killing me, I've been to this auction twice and came home both times with some good deals. I am gonna have to set this one out, no extra money for games. If you can, I would highly recommend going.

Vintage has been random here...I do notice that the ones I miss tend to be better, so I am sure this one will be terrible. As long as I don't stay up for 30 hours straight and come home with Tommy and Mousin Around (both long gone) I should be fine...

I'll be there, watching Dream buy up all the good stuff....lol! Anywho, if anyone wants to say hi, I'll be the red headed guy wearing a green zelda shirt.

Any updates on what was there??????

Stuff.

But seriously, I haven't seen Kingsport this packed with people and stuff to sell...10am to 7pm just for auctioning...so many vids and pinballs it was insane, Monster Bash, Twilight Zone, lots of ok stuff, prices were high on a lot of stuff, really cheap on others....interesting classics..I think spacebaby outbid me on Moon Patrol and someone outbid me on the minty Baby Pac-Man and the Naomi Universal ZOmbie Revenge =(

Not me brother..... I let the Moon Patrol go on. I bid on the Baby Pac ( Why? I am finishing the restoration on one now !!!!) But I found out later that the Baby Pac, Defender,Vanguard, Moon Patrol and another one or two classics were brought in by the same guy and he also took them back home with him..
I picked up another Centipede for $275.00 and a Warp Warp for $250.00 ( Yea I know that is a big price but it was so ugly and the game play is so dumb I just had to have it.)
Also picked up around nine nineteen inch monitors for projects and parts.( Loved how some of the pallets of monitors they were just piled on top of one another and stretched wrapped.....BROKEN NECKS......What a dumb ass).
Bunch of drivers. Even a small Terminator Salvation that brought $4,400.00.......One day I shall acquire one!!!!!!!

Long darn day.....But always a good day to be at a arcade auction.......

I mean it is what it is...I came there with money to spend so I spent it on 8 machines..if he really thought it was worth it to pay $10 to buy each game back and lug them home, so be it...

I opened up one of the blue totes I got for $20.00 this afternoon and after digging through the things on top I found around fifty joy sticks. I think I am set for joy sticks for awhile..
