where do you get those? I noticed that my Jeweler and my Blacksmith now need some pages to train. I'm right past beating Belial and I haven't played in about a week or so.

They are not those pages.
I tried to run some stats but I don't have a complete list of spawns. Although I did find one time dungeon so that was fun. I found 2 pages (8 and 42). Their drop location is on a random spawn, so its not always there. You go out the Kurast East Gate and there are 2 locations where a pirate ship is sunk in the sand. There is a goblin that is digging near it, and he talks to you and ends up exploding. This explosion can hurt you so be careful. Then the page will drop and a bunch of exploding monsters come out of the ground. It isn't required that you kill them, you can just get the page.
The page drops every time you see the ship but as I said the ship doesn't always show up. There is no current use for the pages yet, but you can't sell them either as they are marked as quest items.
The tornado may or may not be related to these. I found that the tornado spawned more times than the ship does, and one time I got the ship but there was no tornado. There are also a few areas in the map that change their locations from the Stinging Winds to something else, but also in these areas there is nothing to do.
I got bored doing the runs, I did 6 of them and recorded 4 of them (on paper) but I think I'll have to research some more before trying them again.
I'm finally playing Diablo 3, anyone want to fill me in on what the little mirrors you get in treasure drops are for? They are marked "follower" for their usable class, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to equip them?

They're used by one of the followers you get to go with you. I think they're for that rascally dude...

No I thought the mirrors are for the girl.
ahhhh, I've only ever used the Templar as my follower, so I guess that explains why I can't equip it. Thanks for filling me in!

Yeah. Those are the legendary items. I have played through the game 2 1/2 times now and still haven't hit one. Templar is cool cause he heals you. I mainly use him, but I tried out the girl and the thief for kicks once in a while too.
Really? 1/2 of my character's equipment is Yellow. I've even salvaged some of the yellow items that are not usable by my character's class. Either you are doing somthing wrong, or I'm confused on what color the legendary items are?

Don't confuse Tan with Yellow. Yellow is Rare. Tan is Unique/Legendary...

I might fire it up tonight for S&G. I'd say I haven't been on in over 6 months.

Right. My colors were off.
Ok i got my first 2 tan drops. One was a belt I can use the other is a witch doctor mask that is of no use to me. What should I do with it? Salvage it? Sell it to a NPC merchant? Sell it in the Auction House (I've never used the Auction House, so have no clue how it works)?

It doesn't hurt to put it in the auction house. If no one buys it, then have the smithy smelt it down for you.
anyone still playing D3? Just started a new Demon Hunter character, would be nice to have someone else to run with.

I may get this (again) when the PS3 version is released. The pre-release reviews actually sound good, and a lot of the PC version's flaws are fixed (like the over-dependency on using the AH to find gear so you can advance).
What is "AH"?
And while I was playing a bit last night I partied back up with a guy that I had played with once before, and he just started dumping gear, $$$, and crafting materials on me! Gave me like 3 legendary items for my Barb, plus 100 mil in gold. Anyone else ever run into players that are so super nice? I wish I had some good stuff to give him back, but all the stuff he gave me was a major improvement for my Barb.
