So I am at STI in Santa Fe Springs today picking up my Cliffy (another story...coming soon) and while they were looking for it I decide to wander around;) .........

At the end of one isle I find these two uber clean beauties

When I came to where they were I found them trying to put the Cliffy on a forklift.....

You can see a tiny bit of a really nice Marble Madness that was sitting behind Cliffy.

Wish it was me.

thats just really sad that people ship nice games and make no effort to protect them..

I would kick the guy in nuts that sold you the clifhanger... It costs maybe $40 in materials and maybe 1 hour work to build a crate...

I think he picked up the cliffhanger.

Uhhh, that would be me :) And stop looking at my games!!

As for the lack of protection thing, 99% of people selling pinball or arcade games don't have the talent, time or means to build a crate. NAVL blanket wraps these too. I prefer a ton of packing of course but sometimes to make the deal you need to make it as easy for the seller as possible. I only trust NAVL/STI/Precision to ship my games. I have had very bad experiences with pilot air, forward air and others with or even without pallets or crates.

shipping

I hate shipping but i've been to that Santa Fe Springs depot many of times and the last time was to pick up my Mach 3, which arrived perfectly fine and still working. I work for a freight company and I will still only use NAVL when it comes to shipping arcade games. I know of a few people who did however have issues with NAVL. Hope it never happens to me.

I promise I didn't touch them! But I can't promise I didn't want to take them! ;)

The games are supposed to be double blanketed. I am hoping when they get to the terminal they take the blankets off to check that there was no damage during transport. The games I have had come to my shop have all been delivered this way. I did ask the guy I got the Cliffy from to wrap the LD player and he didn't bother. Luckily it still works.
