We used to bake our headlights in oven back in the day to remove the casing before painting the inside housings black and re-sealing them. (Depot style head lights)

Haha yeah, I've never even bothered to ask my wife because I know what the answer would be. I'd buy another oven and make space for it in my shop if I really wanted to use one for non-food stuff.
