Who would you like to see come back to KLOV/Hobby?

What happened to him? Just decided to leave the hobby for no real reason?
Not sure, honestly. People come and go, get into and out of the hobby for periods of time. Get busy, have kids, etc. No idea on any of that with Gregg, but he was such a good dude.

When I got my Robotron recently I texted him about it. He responded so it was good to hear from him.

back when I was fixing Williams video games I watched Ken Graham's videos and always wanted to talk to him about them. I don't remember the name of the place now but he worked at or had a stake in an arcade in Houston and I called there one day asking for him and he wasn't in. the guy I talked to said they would leave him a message for me to call back and he never did. so I'll never know how that conversation could have gone. I started fixing those games on KLOV after he abruptly disappeared. there's more preferred people to do that now, and I just didn't want to do it anymore so I guess everything worked out there.

if there's anything to take away it's that tomorrow isn't guaranteed. I forget who that guy was that interviewed him when he was very sick, if anyone has a link to that I would appreciate it. I blocked out a lot of stuff from years back.
That would be the Game Preserve.

Mecha, I remember that Ken got kind of overwhelmed at the time he'd spend on here -- he was here a LOT, and he was a busy guy, so he purposefully backed away from KLOV because of all of the time it was stealing from him. And then later he became sick.

The Game Preserve was very much a side thing for him, and there were 4-5 other partners, so he would spend some time there but wasn't around all the time. Whenever I'd visit there, I'd see him very infrequently.

He never lost his interest in the hobby, he was just kind of overwhelmed by all the time it was taking and made a conscious choice to spend less time on KLOV and more time on other things.

How has no one said Kaneda?? :)

Seriously, TheDrewster was great. Miss his channel. Naturally, John's Arcade too. I don't see DarrenF much either (was a big help to me early on).

I wouldn't use the word miss, but I really would like to know what's going on with noice87

I met Kaneda at Pinball Expo. I drank a lot of beer at that function and dissed him and Brian Kuh both in the same night. to their credit they both laughed at it, because they know what they are.

I quit drinking the following weekend at Midwest Gaming Classic 2021.

I have no attachment to any of the people you've listed otherwise, but you're a good citizen.
