I am going to be giving away the Moon Patrol prototype Main Repro Harness.

This is going to be a contest.

Here are the rules:
1. You must own a Moon Patrol
2. All entries must be made by noon (Pacific Standard Time) Monday November 16th, 2009.
3. An entry will consist of an un-retouched pic / pics of you and your hacked Moon Patrol harness next to or in your Moon Patrol.
4. This contest is only open to people in the U.S. and Canada due to cost of shipping. (The wife won't let me pay to ship it overseas)
5. The winner will be chosen by you the people via votes received for your favorite pics in this thread. Voting will begin Monday November 16th at noon and end Tuesday November 17th at noon.
6. The winner is responsible for posting pics of the installed harness in their Moon Patrol in a timely manner for all to see.

I will give it a shot I would love a Dokert harness :)

Thanks
Jeff

ha! wish you'd have said robotron.. it has a power brick, AND a PC power supply cobbled into it.. probably what the sound don't work!

The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving arcade owner from Fortuna with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a thirty three year old Californian prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would repair and play arcades, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the Atari Logo. Sometimes he would accuse marquees of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers at Funzone, coin acceptance lessons. In the spring we'd de-convert arcades. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with Jamma Harnesses- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first conversion. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Street Fighter II ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it….But enough about my converted hell of a life, with the endowment of a repo harness I will begin my quest of world arcade dominance yet again….Mooo Ha….. Mooo Ha……. Moooooo Ha Ha Ha!

How about a couple Moon Patrol boards and a crappy looking Joust cab that was converted into something else?

Judging from this pic of the 4P1 connector coming off of the power brick, would that mean there is no Moon Patrol harness actually in that cab?

There is not much if any. I think you can see some parts in these pictures.

Am I allowed to enter? You know the harness that I am talking about. Just can't find the picture right now. I'm pretty sure that would take home the prize :)

Eligibility if your harness is missing altogether

I am not sure, because it could become a Moon Patrol.

The goal here is to bring a Moon Patrol with a hacked up harness back to life. I would think that a missing harness would also qualify, provided a person includes pics of their Moon Patrol boardset.

Just checked with the "Ref" and she said, "If your harness is missing altogether, you must show a pic of your Moon Patrol boardset."

This is exactly what we want to see. That is pretty rough.

Yes, you can enter. I am not choosing the winner. The winner will be chosen by popular vote of the people.

This is open to anyone in the U.S. or Canada, yes anyone.

I would be all over it if it was closer:cool: You going to post some pics of the Harness?

Reno isn't that far away.

Nope, it is the responsibility of the winner to post pics of the Harness installed in their machine within a timely manner for all of us to see.

Crap! That puts me out. I've been assembling pieces of my MP for years. It has no harness and no board (though I've been meaning to get one). It does have the original power transformer on the bottom though.

Oh well, better luck next contest!
