Hey all,
I usually use the molex split pin edge connectors from Bob Roberts when I do a vector game restoration....But alas, it appears that the split pins has gone the way of the dinosaur. So I find my self looking to the blue solder pin eyelet style connectors. So my question is who has or carries the best quality blue solder connectors. I'm currently needing 22/44 and 15/30 connectors to help finish up a couple star wars games. I'd prefer connectors of USA, or Japanese origin. I believe Arcade Shop carries some, as do Twisty Wrist and Ian Kellogg. Although Ian's are Chinese. Anyone have some recommendations or insight on this. I'd like to get a parts order out by tomorrow in hopes of getting them by the weekend. Thanks in advance.

most all those blue and black ones are chinese and even the so called usa made are not made in the usa. i personally feel the blue are about the best. all current production is chinese made but some like molex have higher standards but they are not usa. i think some of twisty wrist still might be usa but they would have to be NOS and not NEW. certainly not alot of choices out there and its pretty sad when you have to pick the best of the worst edge connectors.

BTW: mikes arcade still has the molex split pin edge connectors in stock which for my games i will pay for those before using the blue or the black chinese.

What pitch do you need (pin-to-pin spacing, in inches)?
15/30 x ??
22/44 x ??

I don't sell them, but I can help you find them! Good ones are expensive, BTW....

Should be the same as a jamma connector. Don't really know what the pitch is. But I know it used to be a molex split pin connector.

Good to know Mikes has them....but this is going to be expensive. 4 connectors and 200 split pins comes to 124+shipping. Shame no one has had these re-made by molex

I get mine from "Cajun Arcade"
2 bucks each plus shipping is a great deal AND he's a super fast shipper
he's a member round here if I remember correctly
great guy and my go to place for parts

Checked out cajun arcade. They only had the jamma edge connector best I could tell. But I may have to get some of those leg leveling plates for .86 cents.

Correct. I think I was the one who posted that in another thread. That said, they do work.

Just an FYI, the ones from MikesArcade all come with pins. And I'm starting to run low on some of the smaller sizes.
