With bobroberts being temporarily closed, does anyone else sell replacement flybacks for the Matsushita TM202-G monitor?

(I know... throw it out right? If I could source a replacement 19" I would comtemplate just that.)

chad at arcadecup had the best ones with the metal bracket on them but i am pretty sure he is out of stock and the only other place i can think of is twistedquarter. i have about 18 models in stock but since most people throw those chassis away there isn't much call for them so i don't plan to ever bring them in. hope this helps.

I picked mine up from ebay (I believe it's the TLF6041F, but you may want to verify that). Also be forewarned... the one I picked up from Bob died after a short time:

I'm more inclined to believe it's not Bob's stock alone and just that remanufactured flyback in general (how many could be repro'ing these?), but who's to say?

there are a ton of different manufacturers in china repo'ing flybacks so its bob's because there are countless threads here about his crappy flybacks of all models. in the last 3-4 years i have had flybacks made which i stock about 18 models i have used 5 different factories and have bought test runs from 3 others in china.

The TLF6041F I got from ebay did not work and I do not think anything else was wrong with the chassis, I just had a volcano sprout from the side of the old LOPT.
I gave up, petty as those monitors have a superb picture when running.

all things considered flybacks don't fail that often. Are you sure yours failed? these are complicated little buggers and can easily throw off someone experienced if you don't pay attention.

Frankly, I'm not sure. I've replaced almost everything else I can think of. I have a seperate thread for that.

I recently replaced the Q551 part, and was getting some intermittent screen/neck glow, but eventually R809 popped again. I've replaced quite a few parts in and around there with pretty no change in behavior (until I replaced that diode.)

The original problem was R809 burnt up, and no neck glow. Everything else I've done replacing parts, nothing has had any impact until I replaced Q551, and then the screen was intermittent, neck glow was intermittent (sometimes fading and not coming back until I powered the system back up), until R809 popped again like I mentioned.

Replacing the flyback is really a last ditch effort on my part... I can't figure out what else could be wrong on this, and troubleshooting information is very difficult to find, and finding someone to repair it also seems difficult, and opinions seem to lean towards just replacing it with something else.
