Can't believe the prices these rare enamel pins are going for!

There are things that change over time.

If you have something someone wants to complete a collection, even if the market is tight, the prices go up.

I have a bunch of enamel pins. And I don't wear them. I don't collect them.

Maybe I should put them on eBay? (None of them are Atari pins, various airplanes, organizations, and one of the robot flyer from Laputa that my daughter bought for me in Japan from Studio Ghibli.)

Okay, I do use two of them.

One on my IHSA "coat" that I have to wear to varsity basketball games. All the coats look alike, so that helps me pick out "my coat" in the crowd.
Another AOPA pin on my USSF and NISOA warmups for the same reason.

eBay: Place your bids now!

No, I don't think I will....

Just ended, last minute sniping, $1367.00 wowza!

I guess there's nothing wrong with the economy.

I feel guilty buying a full size game for $1300 and that buyer drops it for a pin?? Must need more flare for his waiter outfit.

That's quite the leap for a Quantum pin.

Even the prior bids are suspicious. Do these pins really sell normally in the $300 range? Crazy.

There's nothing wrong with the economy for rich people.

People who can drop $1.3k on a tiny metal trinket will be fine. The rest of us are struggling to buy Ramen.
