I can repair the following:

Merit Megatouch Motherboards (except Mitsubishi boards)
JVL countertop touchscreen motherboards
Nexus countertop motherboards
NSM ICON & ECAST MoJO Cores & Motherboards
AMI ROWE Rockola Motherboards
Fast & Furious and Buck Hunter Pro Motherboards
Sega PC based Motherboards
Atari Media GX Motherboards
Midway PC based Motherboards
Please inquire for any PC-based Arcade games not listed here chances are I can fix it.

Jamma Board repairs coming soon! I Will fix any board that I can get a schematic for. Please stay tuned!! I'm in the process of setting up my test stand.

Repairs are generally $90 - $200 plus parts and shipping.

I will not ask for any money until repairs are completed!

PM me for more info

Hi, My name is Rich. I currently repair Early Bally pinball boards (anything -17 or -35) I repair MPU's, lamp drivers, solenoid driver boards, displays, transformer boards (both styles, Earlier style I just replace the entire board. Later style I repair the board) Sound boards, and aux boards. I'm located in Eden NY just outside of Hamburg NY. I also offer EPROM programming services locally.

Hey all!

I'm Greg, I live on Long Island, New York, and I can repair Konami Hybrid Sound Modules. I am obsessed with Konami's X-men and have learned how to handle and repair these hybrid chips.

This is my full service list for the sound module:

1) Perform a 64-pin check for continuity and repair traces with kynar wire if there is damage
2) Replace op-amps and AD1868 Digital to Analog Converter (though not always necessary when sound is missing)
3) Add capacitors (three options: Electrolytic capacitors which are included with my base rate for a full repair as they are cheapest, SMD and Tantalum capacitors are additional).
4) Should all solder pads for capacitors be missing, I can create a modular daughter-card for the sound chip (credit to pcjohn for this development) where electrolytic capacitors are added to a breadboard and then wired separately from the PCB.
5) If one or few solder pads are missing, capacitor leads, or IC pins will be jumped with Kynar and tested for continuity; then hot glued or epoxy'd for rigidity

I can perform repairs to whichever degree you prefer. For instance, should you want to add your own capacitors yourself, I will perform the necessary work and tests so that all you have to worry about is soldering on your capacitors in the correct polarity.

Depending on each module's needs, once a repair order is started, it can take me between 30 minutes and two hours to get the sound working. I am currently (as of 9/8/2015) repairing two sound modules that have cranked in half by epoxying the chip back together and jumping numerous pins and IC's back together - whatever it takes to get it working

PM me if you are interested in a repair, or have any questions or concerns! I do not take payment unless the sound module is fully repaired AND working!

I am also very happy to help guide others :-D

Sega Repairs

Hello. Ken here from Advanced Repair Center (www.irepairsega.com). I have been repairing Coin Op Arcade equipment since 1983. You can see more info on what I repair and my history by visiting my website. Basically my main focus is on Sega pcb repairs. I do drift into Konami and others. I do thru hole, SMD, and BGA.

Call or email for help troubleshooting and determination of pcbs needing to be sent in for repair. I will issue RMA at that point and we can go from there.

offering complete board rebuilding

Hi, my name is Sean Dotson, or Dot for short. I've been in the business of collecting, repairing and restoring arcade games for the past 12 years. I have a degree in electrical engineering, and have knowledge of using oscilloscopes, as well as logic probes. The problem with arcade equipment is that it is 30+ years old, so you fix one problem, and soon after another failure pops up, so your continuously repairing. what ive started doing is completely stripping all semiconductors, sockets, and electrolytic capacitors and replacing them with new parts. Then you can put your game together and forget about it.As can be imagined, this process is not exactly cheap, the typical B.O.M is anywhere between $100 - $150 alone, and multi-stack boards go higher.
If anyone is interested in a PCB renewal, pm me

Hi, my name is Matt. I am a Pittsburgh PA native and focused on my service area. I accept mail-in work, but am very selective about that. I prefer to work locally. My specialty is walking into an overwhelming situation and leaving you with a playable collection. I've done this many times for many people with great success rates often developing friendships along the way. Maintaining a selective and local base is a more personal experience to me. Your privacy is priority #1.

I can work on-site or in-shop on over 100 video hardware platforms not including monitors of which I work on all and specialize in xy. I am a solutions based technician and if I don't have the answers, I will get them. Turn around is typically quite fast. If you're within the 50 mile radius of Pittsburgh and don't know where to start with what you've amassed, i'm 100% your guy. Fee schedule varies as I've found that fair to me and more economical for you. Best to contact me and just explain what sort of situation you're in and what your expectations are. Thanks!

This information is also in the link in my sig.

My name is Chris. I'm a solar electric systems designer and project manager by day, and arcade hobbyist on nights and weekends. I recently put together the components necessary to de-suicide CPS-2 boards, and am now offering the service to the community.

$40 to resurrect a suicide'd board, assuming you are sending it with the battery replaced, it is not failed for any other reason, and original code is in place. You pay shipping both ways.

If you would like me to replace the battery also - add $15. I provide the battery.

If your board has been phoenix'ed/decrypted (running without a battery, not running original code), and you wish to return it to battery/original code operation, let's have a conversation and come to an agreement about who is providing the roms with original code and who is providing the battery.

I will test the board with a CPS2 suicide tester prior to proceeding with any service, and notify you if the board is not suicide'd. I will provide a video of the board fully functional at the time of request for payment for services rendered.

PM me with all inquiries.

I'm Phil, an Englishman in San Jose. Despite my avatar, I'm not actually a cat. I am however an electronic/software engineer and have spent years reverse-engineering arcade hardware for the MAME project.

I will diagnose and repair most PCBs (preferably JAMMA or supplied with a JAMMA adaptor).

There is no charge for my time; you will only pay for the cost of postage and parts.

In return, you will allow me to use your PCB to improve the documentation/emulation of the hardware in MAME. For this reason and because I have a full-time job, I cannot guarantee a quick turnaround :)

Please PM me with your requests.

Cheers!

I've got a Galaga and Mr Pac PCB that need repair if you'd like. Just let me know and I'll send them your way.

My name is Matt and I have been repairing pre-1984 electronics for about five years. My educational background is in chemical engineering and I find many concepts from that discipline very similar to electronics. I specialize in repairing the following troublesome hardware:

  • Midway Omega Race Logic Boards
  • Sega G80 Vector Series Logic Boards
  • Electrohome G08 Vector Monitors (G08-003 only)
Please contact me via personal message for details and pricing regarding these repairs. Due to the varying nature of battery leakage on Omega Race, I will request a few pictures of your logic board(s) prior to committing to a repair. Some boards are just too extensively damaged and I may not be able to repair them in a reasonable period. I have a full time job so my repair time is limited to evenings and weekends. I will provide a time estimate based on my current repair queue and will update you throughout the repair process should that estimate change.

Sir,
I am certain I don't require a repair but rather guidance. (I think). We moved our Ms Pacman machine and now we have an I/O testing screen I can't get past. We haven't seen this screen before and don't know what to do. Thanks for your help.
V/R,
Terri Jordan
