Who repairs what?

It's been quite some tme since I roamed these halls. Wondering who, if anyone repairs Asteroids and vector monitor boards? My Asteroids PCB had the magic smoke come out of a voltage regulator and frankly just want to have it fixed and fixed correctly. Thanks in advance!

I repair all Atari vector game, power and monitor boards. B/W and color games.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for help working on a couple of boards (I think):

Cruisin' Exotica: The amp got broken off the board, can a new one be installed and who can do it?
X-Men 4 player: No audio and all the troubleshooting guides say the chip is likely fried. Anyone work on these?

Thanks!
Doug

Hi my name is Lucas (aka Comet).I do pest control as a day job and woodworking, blacksmithing, metal fab, and arcade repairs in my free time.
I also use arcade units for charity events to raise money for them. Arcade machines have always been my passion and I have been working on and using them for charity work for 5 years.

I do repairs on self redemption machines of all types as well as EM pinball machines.
I can refabricate just about any metal or wood part as well as make custom parts.
I'm also good at locating hard to find parts and figuring out replacements for non existent ones.
I live in Canal Fulton Ohio and you can contact me through here or my email: [email protected]

Is anyone currently available to help fix a Gauntlet main board with missing sprites and background textures?

Anyone experienced and available to repair an original R-Type PCB that won't boot?
I have a good +5vdc at the board, all socketed chips have been cleaned (most were clean) and the sockets treated with DeOxit.
Cabinet has no problem booting a random jamma board.

Thanks
Drew

Hi,

My name is Lance Korhonen. I've been repairing arcade PCB's since 2005. I repair PCB's on a full time basis and am always looking for more work.
I repair 70's, 80's, and 90's arcade boards. If I can't fix your board, you won't get charged. My website is www.classicarcadeboards.com.
You can PM here or at my website for info on any repair. At this time I do not do monitor repairs, sorry, but will be expanding this summer.

I currently repair arcade PCB's for Eau Claire Games and Arcade in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. If you're local please visit them and tell Tim I mentioned them!

If you have any questions please PM me and ask.

Thanks,
Lance
Update..

I still do board repairs and now can do color vector boards, no cinematronics though.
My website is no longer, I don't want to pay for it anymore, it's too much.
No monitor repairs yet, will get to it eventually sometime this decade, maybe.

Lance

Which is the issue? Is it perhaps stuck on a static screen at boot?

Looking to see if anyone can help with my Namco 25th Anniversary PacMan board? It's not booting up. One of the rom chips looks smaller than the socket (U14). Not sure if this is normal. Right now nothing happens when I turn it on. Does not play blind or show any life. Anyone familiar with these boards?
