Looking for recommendations on where to send my 27" WG D9200 monitor chassis for diag/repair in the US. Prefer flate rate repairs.

if anyone responds to this, I'm trying to fix one of my D9200s. I need a replacement part # for the old style 9202 neckboard color resistors. they say 10W1.5KJ ... Chad recommended increasing the resistance a little bit, but I don't know what I'm ordering. :(

That would be 1.5k Ohms (1500 Ohms) 10 Watt resistor. The J can refer to the tolerance, if I remember correctly J is 5% tolerance. You can find them at mouser online.

If he said to up the resistance a little, you could check mouser and see what the next highest value probably a 1.8K at the same wattage.

thanks for the help. I'm gonna just do a direct replacement, see if that helps. Chad suggested turning all the RGB values and brightness down if I were to replace the resistors. if it starts popping color channels again, then I'll try a beefier resistance.

to OP, try calling WG about D9200's if you're in the mood for some amusement. I swear they got sales people working in their tech support department, just saying "oh, you'll be better off replacing it, there's no parts left!" BULLSHIT

just out of curiosity, what's your unit doing?

It started out with the image folded over and convergence issues. I unplugged the yoke and powered it up for a sec, that messed up whatever makes the monitor sync. Now it will sync with my pc but not the game, but the game will sync with a pc monitor. Still may have a tube issue after the board is repaired. Here's a link to my first post with pics.
