Who repairs Golden Tee Complete Boards?

I have, ToplessZ does, a few others may also.

All really depends on "what" it is doing. Simple buffer chips small SMD parts are somewhat easy to fix, but if your talking about the large HHD controller chips CPU's ect... IMO not worth fixing.
Buy a cheap 01 to 05 board Swap a couple parts and you have a good Complete again.

Thanks!

Here's what it's doing in the attached picture. I get this screen and it keeps rebooting.

What have you done? Did you make a new HHD from a CHD? is your HHD smaller than 10Gb?
The 1.06 Boot rom Sucks ass, (what you have installed) if you have a burner I would tell you to get the 2.09 version and try it again. There are links here in the forum for that file. I posted a few myself.

You may have a bad drive the game will do that when it doesn't detect what it needs from the hard drive.

Thanks for the info. I've only verified the power supply is supplying the correct voltage to the board.

I don't have another hard drive to test this board with either.

I assume someone who repairs these would be able to do all of your recommendations in about 15 minutes? That's exactly why I wanted to source the repair work.

i am going with darrenA here
anything less then egale 2.09 sucks
and constant reboot is a common error of the psu and or harddrive

Big thing is cost. I have a few boards I can "swap" parts from yours to make a good board if you need it. I also have the eeproms and the files for the 2.09 Boot Rom. I can also make new Hard drives. I have the CHD's already, and I may have a drive or 2 already set up.

I have a shortage of time though..... So it may take me a few days to get to looking at it. (winter here and its Snowplow repair ect... for me. )
If your interested PM me and I will send you my Address and go from there.

I ran into this issue with one of my boards and it wasn't the hard drive... its the Xilinx chip or 4 of the RAM chips next to it. Not worth fixing... even if you have a donor. You should def try a new hard disk just to make sure, but it's probably the board. I reached out to IT and they still fix these boards, but it's like $125 plus cost of parts. Which might be worth it for a Complete board, but it wasn't for my 2002 board.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll give ToplessZ a crack at it. If he can't fix it, I'll just buy a working board from him.

Let's see how this works out...

Complete boards aren't cheap they go for $300+... so if he can't fix it you might want to go the IT route if they can do it for a decent price.

The board has some corrosion and a possible bad RAM chip. The board was not repaired... I am in the process of buying another board.

Thanks to ToplessZ for checking it out for me...
