Restored must mean different things to different people.
I would say 'restored' in this case means painted it black and screwed some hardware to the exterior acting as some kind of leaches to the original cab.
Still, as poorly executed as the hardware install was, it's not too unreasonable for $300. Hell, if I ever go to sell mine it will be listed for a heck of alot more than that.
I've seen worse. Honestly, it's not bad for what it is. I'm sure they had some good times with their project cab. Oh wait, I just noticed it was an old Turbo cab. Heck I thought it was a home built cab.. hehe
Ehh, not the nicest thing in the world. But I cant say It's a horrid thing compared to some of the things I've seen (as most of the rest here).
I need to get sign off the computer now. I have to go finish painting all my games sides over with a nice thick coat of off-black. Then I'll call it a day. But don't worry! I thought ahead. I'll cover the T-molding and coin-door with some Frog Tape.
I don't think Turbo gets much love anyway. At the Pinball Expo in 2008, 2 of them were in the auction, one upright that didn't work right, and a cockpit that was working 100% (if I remember correctly). They went for $5 a piece.
