Who is picking up the Atari Video Pinball in San Francisco area? posted on CL

Who is picking this up? I got an email back from the seller that someone was coming over to pick it up today. Want to trade or flip it?

SF CL # 2534123079

"Video Pinball by Atari - $300 (south san francisco)
Date: 2011-08-06, 10:57PM PDT

This game is definitely a collector's item. I hate to part with it, but need the cash. I haven't turned it on in a while, but it should be working. Everything on the machine is original, down to the keychain. You can test it out. You'll also need to arrange the transportation.

$300 obo"

hey wolfeel, it was me

the drive down there through the city i was thinking "i know that guy from humboldt wants one of these" partially justifying as i figured i could flip it to a ready buyer if i'm not happy with it...

although i have to admit its been on my want list since CAX, when after recommending that other one to you when i saw you had it "wanted", i gave it some good play at CAX, and was re-impressed with it (as well as the new Tron one from Rich)...

you'll be the first to hear when i'm ready to trade it for something... but to be honest, is it just me or is the available game market really dry compared to 5or6 years ago... even forgetting price, the amount of stuff is low, i'm trying to add to my arcade right now and not having much luck, too bad i was too busy for this hobby during the start of the recession a few years ago, i bet lots of stuff came up

other than this that is (luck-wise), i checked craigslist right before crashing last night, within 10-15min of her post, and got lucky for once...

fixed a busted fuse holder and she's running fine... some alignment between screen and playfield needed (as expected), and the artwork is pretty nice, definitely good enough for my arcade without anything... a new cp and side plastics (scratches and cig burn respectively) would be about it, better blacklight distribution toward the drain), bezel/header, playfield, and sideart all very nice

i'll get some better pics up here soon, and sorry i snagged this before you (kinda)

Yeah, please let me know if you do want to flip it. I'll send you a PM in a second. As much as I wish I would have this right now, I'm glad a least a KLOVer got it.
