holy carp! You better have brass cohones to open the throttle on that thing! What was it made for? Mud bogs?

Tell me about the EA Sports NASCAR, Daytona USA, and/or Konami Racing Jams...if there were any.

i am really interested in a narrow change machine... but i cant make it today.. if anyone going can keep an eye out for me, pm me and I will give you my contact info.

I've been looking for a narrow change machine for a while now. There was about 8 narrow change machines there yesterday. Most went in the $300 - $400 dollar range.

I didn't see any of that stuff. There was a Sega NASCAR. There was also a Sega Brave Firefighter. I bid it up to $800 trying to buy it before I backed out. If the owner had left the door opened so I could see if it was 100% working, I would have bought it if 100%. I couldn't play it.

Mostly Midway/Atari drivers... Hydros, Cal Speed, Rush, 2049's and se's, Exoticas and Worlds. 18 Wheeler and 2 Super Bikes. 1 Drift conversion.

I would have loved to swing by the auction. I was up at 4:00 am to get to Virginia to pick up a pac-man I bought. Stopped in mechanicsburg for lunch and gas. Would have been a single man if I went to the auction as well. Glad to see if was worth while for the people that attended.

I was impressed at the quality of the auction... quite a bit of good stuff, and not many dead junkers. I was really annoyed at how they did the auction though... they started with the parts, and then a row of arcades, then went all the way around the outside walls, selling megatouches, jukes, deluxe cabs, pool tables, gumball machines, etc, before finally getting back to the rest of the normal arcades. It was about 6 hours between doing the first row of normal cabs to get back to the row next to them.

I ended up picking up a Marble Madness... I've been looking for one for quite a while, and I got a decent deal on it ($375), and it's in pretty good shape. I really wanted a Tapper, but they went a little high for me.

Yeah.. I liked this auction too. I've always gone to the Baltimore Auction, but that 4+ hour ride gets a little long. This was only 2+ hours for me.

I had my eye on those Tappers too. Yes, they were a bit expensive. That Robotron was up there too? I think it went for $600?

That was how they did the Baltimore auction too except they stopped to do the buy-it-now room, megatouches, slot machines, etc before going back to the other stuff. I was also a little annoyed that with the experience these guys have with auctions that it looked like they were unprepared. They would auction off a juke, wait for it to be moved, then wait to plug in the next one. There was a lot of of dead time it seemed. They got moving once they got to the cabs. Wish it was a little more organized so people werent stuck waiting for the things they wanted. Just my opinion though.

Here are some pics from the Harrisburg auction.
