WHO IS in HARRISBURG NOW at the AGS SALE lets get some info, pix etc.

how is it shaping up?

classics , pins ,etc,....lets see some pix or feedback.

THANKS!

today is preview and drop off day to clarify

how much stuff has been dropped off ? its 3:25 pm.

thanks.

I would be interested to hear how this auction turned out as well. Now that the weather is getting better and people seem to be spending money again, I wonder if there are still good deals to be had. Any info would be appreciated. I would like to know about driving games, pinballs and higher end videos...

I was there around lunchtime dropping off a few games and I would guess that there was around 200 or so games and more being unloaded. I didn't notice any classics but I really didn't look all that close. There was an Addams Pinball, Artic Thunder, some newer shooting games like Americas army and the usual auction games like redemption and gumball machines. There was more stuff that what I thought there would be. In my opinion it looked like it may be a decent auction.

i am really interested in a narrow change machine... but i cant make it today.. if anyone going can keep an eye out for me, pm me and I will give you my contact info.

Was there last night (Friday) at the preview from about 6-7:30. There were a lot of games there and they were still unloading more. Guy at the door said they would make a deal right then and there if "you saw something you just had to have".

Lots of jukes, mostly cd. Lots of touchscreens. Not too many classics, a few Ms pacs, and a few others. Not a lot of pinballs, maybe 15 or so, but some of the ones they did have: Addams Family, Freddy a Nightmare on Elm St, Theatre of Magic, No Good Gofers.

A bit of everything. Crane machines, redemption, air hockey, one super chexx, pool tables, slot machines (most were real slots modified for free play or tokens, but I bet they could be converted back), pinballs, jukes, arcades (lots of shooters had to have at least 3 or 4 lethal enforcers, lots of sitdown drivers too), touchscreens, and even a row of kiddie rides.

Most of the stuff seemed to be working, but there were some projects.

Damn the bad luck. I couldn't make it today. I have a head cold and can't quit sneezing. Ugh... Oh well.. maybe next time.

Pretty impressive auction considering how things go nowadays. Not a huge selection of classics, but you had Paperboy, Marble Madness, 3x Tappers, a Spanish Missile Command and some others. Thin on the pins, but overall some neat stuff. Took some pics here:

I didn't pick up anything, but it was worthwhile seeing some old friends.

Good looking Robotron from what I can see!!!!! Oh-well always Winston-Salem.

Harrisburg was a great auction. There were deals to be had, although the games were going for higher than what I anticipated. Not too many pinballs this time... they were going pretty high. All the golden tees were going for 3-500 roughly, dead monitors or not. Multicades were going cheap... I think the Multicade era is beginning to roll off into the sunset. Megatouch Ions going for 1300-1800. I saw a non working EVO go for like 900. Touchscreens were going for SCANDALOUS money... nuts!

Some of the prices I saw...

Dedicated MK 225
MK3 Ultimate 150
Big Buck Safari Deluxe 4600
No Good Gofers kinda rough 1650
Megatouch Rx 2850
Megatouch Jade 425 (can't even get that on ebay!)
Flash pinball not working 425
Tahiti bingo (looked like new) 150
Neo Geo with 100-1 cart 250
Gravity Hill 500
Wacky Ducks 1000
Dracula pin 850
Getaway pin (rough) 625
NBA fastbreak pinball (real nice) 950
Cyclone pin 925
Gilligans pinball 950
Addams pinball 2300 (?)

There was a lady there who really wanted this Theater of Magic pinball. Despite the dying display and general unshoppedness of the pin (I just made that word up), she cranked it to like 2700! Wow!

Again... awesome auction, especially for a first time around. they're shooting for another one there in September, but plans are not yet finalized.

Oh... and not to mention the JVL Retro that went for like 2300. Considering that JVL blew out their remaining new inventory of retros about a year ago for 2500 a unit, that had to be the deal of the day :p

Thanks for the reports. Sounds like it was worth going to. It is amazing what kind of money some of the pins can bring. Any auction that has a decent robotron is A-OK in my book!
