Ok. So I bought a control panel from up North that had a wood backing. When I received the package I brought it in the house but waited couple of days to open it. I opened it in the house to take a look at my new purchase. What I found shocked me and I didn't even think about this. The wood was weathered and had a fresh bored hole and another older hole. I immediately put the bag that it came in back in the box and put it in the trash outside. I then re-bagged the control panel and put it outside as well. I broke out the vacuum and vacuumed the area then emptied the vac in a bag and also put that outside. So, now I'm freaked out that I may have released termites into the house. Wife already doesn't like the arcade games around. Do you think I covered my bases? Is there anything else I should do to help protect the house as well as my other games?

You're fine. Termites need water to live and a nice damp area. If they fell out of the wood on your floor they would die quickly. You did the right thing and should have no problems in the future.

Thanks. I can't believe that I did that. I usually never bring it it the house until I open and inspect it outside. I had the holidays on my mind. Luckily the control panel was wrapped in a bag, boxed with styrofoam peanuts and the box was sealed all the way around.
