A very long time friend of mine(who was also the Best Man at my wedding to Katina) hit me up about spending New Year's Eve at my house, because his kids love my arcade games.

Granted, I don't have anywhere near the set up a lot of you guys have, but it makes me feel good that his kids enjoy the few games I have. Not to mention I get to catch up with an old friend, and our wives have become good friends as well.

I'll post pics at some point, and would like to see everyone else's. :D

(note: I hate the holidays, and NYE closes that shit out, so I'm glad it's just about over)

Yup.. Ill probably spend some time in the arcade but with nobody over.

Our area is a douche fest on any weekend/major holiday so my goal will be to avoid the waves of drunk assholes in town for the weekend.

Yep....it's been a tradition for over 15 years! I have all the games fired up, and ready to go. It's great because it's so cold here around this time of year, and having the basement arcade fired up is great entertainment. I also always hold a contest on New Years. I choose a pinball machine, and erase all the high scores. Whoever has their initials are on the top spot wins a gift card.
Happy New Year!

pretty stoked to be holding our first ever new years eve party for my fam and friends!!! me and the wife have about 20 or so people coming over between 6-12 to eat good food, drink some beer/soda, and play some games. like the op mentioned i too have only a fraction of the games some folks do but they seem to get people moving off the sofa at different times during the night. you will here a wheres ron and someone will be like hes in playing asteroids. got to love it. ill take pics and be sure to post!!!
thanks

Having some fellow collector friends over tomorrow afternoon/evening for beer and arcade games and pinball.

Ditto. Not collectors though just some friends. Arcade will be in full swing. Out to dinner and then ring in the new year at our place. Wife set it up.

Since my recent relocation I have no room for games sadly and am down to just one game(Playchoice) and it's in a closet :(. Fortunately I live within a couple miles of the game preserve http://www.gamepreservehouston.com so I will be there tomorrow for a while to get my game fix.

Spending New Year with my wifes parents who live next door, at some point I will sneak down to the basement and play some games.
Maybe the kids can join me for a while.

Happy New year to you all!

We have a Christmas party every year and hosted the holiday itself for 26 people this year. The games were on both times and people were in and out having a great time!

Nope, going to a party with no games and probably struggling to make small talk about things I give zero shits about. Bring on the booze, even if I'm a mumbling asshole by 9pm I'll still think I handled the small talk well.

Just the family tonight but Christmas was crazy in the home arcade lots of pinball and a few people even attempted a mad planets game or two. Never a party till a game goes down so Galaga went in the shop for monitor repairs
Cheers and happy new year. Post some pics people let's see the party's 😎

You made super good use of that garage space! That Demolition Man pin looks awesome!

We had people over yesterday for an open house, and not only were all of the games working, but none of them broke! It's a festivus miracle!
