I have acquired a Cabaret Monaco GP. It is playable - kinda. For some reason I have the Bridge narrows icon tiled all over the screen. The sounds and scoring and controls work, however due to this graphic anomaly, the collision detection is off.
Any ideas? or anyone fix these? I also have a spare boardset thats in worse shape that will need repaired as well.
Thanks.

Let me know if you find someone. I've got 5 sets and none of them work 100%. I've pieced together a set that is like 95% but still has some glitches.

It looks like the ICs at position #5 and #2 on board 96578-P relate to the Bridge. Try replacing them to see if that helps.

I don't have my board in front of me, so I don't know what the chip part number is. Just going off of the schematic here:

I'll check my boardset later for part numbers...

Can you also see what IC accepts whatever command there is from the coin switch? I swear I am going to get mine (cockpit) back up and running!!

Well the logic board you want to look at is 96577-P, that controls the game start, among other things.

A little hard to read in this scan... Do you have an original manual you can reference?

I do, and it's MUCH more clear than the scans I have seen.
I'll try and get a good quality scan made.
Any idea where to host the files?

My problem is the headlights don't work on the "night" screen!!
Course it worked fine till I cleaned out the cabinet... <sigh>

Well,
since I finally have time to get back to this, and VintageGamer now has his own thread - I figured Id post a couple pics of what mines doing for some ideas....

any ideas??
Now again, this is playable - all the controls and sounds work, acellerates fine. score works, but when drvining on the "road" the car is in permanent "skid" mode like its on ice or water. so im sure due to the graphics, the collision detection may be messed up.
