I have been collecting on and off for years. I got married in 2000, and my father in law was interested in the games. Now he has pinball machines of his own. I have gotten others into the hobby as well. Just wondering how many others you've 'infected' with the sickness.

Here are the machines that are at the in-laws (makes it nice to go over there, LOL) - Crappy cell phone pic:

These were my first 2 games, back in 1997. A Contra (converted Centipede) and a Mr. Do's Wildride (converted Cliffhanger). The person in the picture is my friend Todd. He was amazed that you could own these games, as we used to hit the arcades a lot as kids. After that picture he started collecting shortly thereafter and his collection is now around 25 or 30 games. My little girl who was age 3 in the picture is now 16 years old. I actually had her drive me to pick up a DK last year while I sat shotgun. Keeping them alive with the friends and family.

Hey Basement, were you single then or how i n the hell did you convince your woman to let you put games in the bathroom?

Oh, and I got my plumber into it by selling him two of my games.

Not single, open floor plan with the bathroom connecting to the bedroom.

I had a friend who collects & got me interested in the hobby. As soon as I get extra cash I will be getting something. :)

I guess I can be blamed for my cousin. I kept telling him about the games I have, and convinced him to buy some... he's hooked now

I got 4 buddies into it, though I've been the only one that has moved from MAME into dedicated stuff. They're all one-game-and-done guys, but they are all great multi-game setups.

My dad's business partner. He now has a garage completely filled with system 80 gottlieb pins. Needless to say, my dad wasn't happy about it. He spends half his day looking on craigslist for deals.

Being a teenager of the early 1980's I would say it was myself and the 9 arcades we had in our town. I always thought it would be cool to have some games at home. When I got my own house I knew what I wanted and I started to look for it.

Just got a good friend hooked about 4 months ago. I sold him a Ms pac ,and now he has a Comet pinball ( from DPwitz) , Golden tee 2005, guantlet, time pilot, and two others that i cant think of at the moment. I warned him when I sold him the Pac.
