Currently I have a Terminator poster hanging next to my T2, and I have a Tron Legacy poster hanging above my Tempest on the wall. I have a Predator poster with Arnold that I want to hang too, but I don't want it to be movie overkill in there. I also have a Star Wars Episode 1 banner that I keep going back and forth on hanging. I allllllllllllmost sold it here on KLOV and then I aborted. ;)

Anyone else have movie posters hanging in their arcades?

I had framed Explorers & Monster Squad posters hanging up back when I had wall space to hang them. Now there are too many games, I guess that's a good problem to have.

KLOV member Welove80s blessed me with 2 Tron Legacy posters (and other goodies) that he got from the theater where he put his Tron on location during the theater showing. Now just waiting to get an actual Tron machine down there.

I took all my stuff down as I'm going to be putting together a garcade, but I have:

Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition framed 8X10 prints from Disneyworld
Captain EO Tribute from Disneyland
The Goonies
Tron: Legacy

Where did you get your Tron Legacy poster?

I got this one from Walmart of all places.

They did a one night IMAX prescreening in October of last year at White Marsh, and I got it there. Along with a TRON Legacy bracelet, some postcards and (I better stop there or I'll lose my candy machines LMAO)

I'm not sure if he still has them or not, but my uncle had a whole box of movie posters. I know quite a few were duplicates. I'm not sure what most of the titles were but a few I remember were Slumber Party Massacre and Sorority House Massacre. Not all of them were horror movies though.

So I guess the next question is should movie posters be indicative of game-related movies in the arcade, or for the era in general, or what? Or should it not matter *why* they are in the arcade?

I could totally see myself trying to find an Alien VS Predator machine if I put up my Predator poster. :)

I've been meaning to get Star Wars and Tron posters to go with my Star Wars and Tron but never did. Maybe for my new arcade when I move.

Personally, I would
1. Dump the Episode I banner. I'm sure it's huge and if you can get anything for it, I would take it and run. With the amount of Episode I crap I have, I would gladly take $.50 on the dollar if I could.
2. Movie posters are cool, but should have a theme. You don't need to have a poster for each corresponding game or vice versa, but I wouldn't do just 1 or 2 random posters. Do the SW Trilogy or Indiana Jones or something like that. If you are just going to do 1 or 2, then make sure they have special meaning or perhaps correspond to specific games you have. I wouldn't just put some up because you just happen to have them...i.e., Predator is kind of random unless you have a Predator collection or something like that.

I have a framed addams family poster. I have tron and tron legacy poster thats just going to get framed.

I think I might do the other the left and right parts of the tron legacy poster.
