My favorite arcade used to have this sitdown that spins round like 360, It was a radical game back in the day.

So who knows it and played it?

That must have been pretty cool when it came out, I know I would have spent a few dollars playing it.

I did , many moons ago on Damrak Amsterdam .
I remember that you had to use some force to move the steering wheel and the whole cockpit moved in the opposite direction of your steering movements .
Game looked awesome but I remember it being very tough and easy to spin of the track .
We use to play in a group on the 6 combined Final lap cabinets there !

Wow that's so nice to hear!!!
I played it at the same place, Cineac arcade at Damrak.

Same experience here, the game was to hard to handlle and before you knew it you were spinning off the track.
I just played it for the spinning of the cockpit, mostly it went in oppisite direction but sometimes spun like crazy in any direction.

I remeber the big row of Final Lap racers, they got so much love as that was the first real multiplayer ever.

Were you there for hollidays ?

As I am from The Netherlands myself , Gozert , we use to go out in Amsterdam once every month or so .

We started at the Cineac Arcade and then to Leidseplein or Redlight district for some drinking and fun , I remember lots more Arcades there we use to visit deeper in the night .
So sad it's all long gone :(

OK dan!!! Wist niet dat je NLer was gab :)

O man that was my daily life, I went from Rembrandts where there were several arcades to Roking where there were Cineac, Las Vegas and Macau then to red light for maximum fun:D

Just like you I feel sad it's all gone, well most are still there but it's only gambling machines.

I've played this mostly in the UK in a small seaside town called Southport (local to me), but I've seen at least 4 machines in different UK locations and 1 in spain? I found the hydraulics were too powerful for the game play, the steering was very heavy and very sensitive. When you turned into a corner the whole machine would lurch into rotation and then jerk to a standstill. The effect of the lurching at the start and end of the turn would cause your steering hand to lurch also, making you unintentionally steer slightly in the opposite direction. You could prepare and get used to the lurching after a few games, but your arm was aching so much from the heavy steering that it counteracted any 'practice' games you were playing. Very difficult game - never finished it but came very close. "uh oh, there's the yellow flag".

Whoa, I have never seen one of those but if I ever came across one, I'd definitely spend some coin playing it!

Imagine how fun it would be to take the car pictured above it out for an afternoon at the Nurburgring... Those Can-Am cars from back in the day rule!!!!!

Yep that's the same experince I had with it.
I think it's a game that never made it to the US.
Are Asia and Europe the only two continents where this game was released?

why in the opposite direction...that makes no sense to me.
On the flyer I read that it also made vertical jump-motion of some sort...I did not know it also had Force-Feedback.
I would love to see this game spinning...but nobody in the scene seems to own one.
