While scanning my arcade related papers I happen to stumble across some games I have never heard of and can't find the slightest information on the net. I will post them here hoping someone can shed some light on them. There is still a lot to be scanned so I guess some more mysterious games will surface.

First one is a game called "Field Carnival". All I have is a sheet with pinout and DIP switch information. The pinout is Taito style like Elevator Action and the layout of the sheet is similar to that of other Taito games.
Someone wrote a 1984 date on it.

Next is a cartridge based system called "Escape Kit" which is an abbreviation for Exchangeable Software Cartridge Package, made by Technart.
Judging by the fact that the games use a timer and that Super Mario is mentioned on the last page my guess is that it uses regular home console cartridges. Probably Famicom games, at least the drawings look a bit like them.

Never heard of any of those...

But I just wanted to say that I noticed your recent mass contributions to the KLOV manual archive, and I appreciate it. Thank you!

Technart was a store in Osaka Japan that sold various things such as JAMMA adapters. There is even a PC Engine adapter I found about:

Technart ( テクナート ) is translated back to english as "Tekunato"

Another of their products?

I want to guess that it is a famicom adapter for arcade, maybe even super famicom. If you want to do more searches, here is Famicom in japanese: ファミコン

How about "Gaelco Splosh!"

I found this manual in a box of manuals I bought. I can't find any other references to it on-line at all! Anyone know anything about this one?

Thanks, I just seem to have too much time on my hands, that's all ;)

Interesting! We have a PC Engine to Jamma in our collection, I will check if it is one made by Technart.

It's actually called "Splash", but I admit the logo is hard to read, it's in the KLOV database: http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9726

That might be a dude.

Ahh. So the manual cover is a paintbrush, then! That's pretty odd. Explains why I couldn't find it anywhere, at least. That's what happens when one over-stylizes the logo.

Anyone want the manual? I meant to put it in with the stuff I sold yesterday, and I sure don't need it. It's not very large, and it can go for 88 cents, so I'll even spring for postage - PM me if you want it! Otherwise I'll probably just recycle it in a week or so.

Just came across a game called "Inter Girl", anybody ever heard of it?
It has a Jamma pinout and the three buttons are labeled "choose", "erase", and "help". Maybe some kind of Mahjong game?

Cool. A Super Nintendo to not quite JAMMA converter.

ken

It *is* JAMMA. I don't have it anymore but it was JAMMA. On a timer, and took regular SNES carts. Got it in a cab from an auction. Cab was fully working, nice monitor, and working JAMMA SNES inside. $40 :) Didn't know the SNES was in there when i bought it. Whole thing wouldn't power up at the auction.
