Who has an original Dedicated Ghosts 'n Goblins CAB?

Does anyone have a picture of a real Ghosts 'n Goblins cabinet.
I think I found an abandon empty one that I can rescue, but I gotta see one from a real owner.
I dont want to bring the wrong cabinet home.

I know the klov has some picture but all are not Accurate. (Karnov is the best example)

Could the proud owner of this game please provide me with a photo?

Much appreciated.

The original cabinet looks like the one shown here on VAPS:

...and... Here's another member here on KLOV with one for sale (looks just like the one on VAPS.)

It is very similar to a Dynamo HS1 cabinet - EXCEPT, instead of the 'bump' in the profile of the cabinet where the control panel is, the cabinet is extended flush with the control panel all the way to the ground.

If you try and use an original Ghosts N Goblins control panel on a regular HS1 cabinet, you will find that it just wont look right.

If you have access to the cabinet, snag it! You don't see many Ghosts N Goblins left in the wild!

If it will help you, I just measured an original CP that I'm going to put in a cabniet (when I find one - LOL):

23-3/4" wide - standard width for Dynamo HS1 also..

That cab looks like a 'GO' to me!! Free, heck I'd take it anyhow!

She is 23 3/4. I measured that when i saw her.

Picking it up tomorrow.

Now, Anyone know the real Paint code or vinyl color? everything else I have.
Marquee, Side art, PCB, & CPO

Also is the original Bezel Glass...?

I have Vectorized this a while back, I'll get it done on glass.

Sorry, I don't know the color codes.

Yup, that seems to be the original bezel.

You're pretty close in location to Rich @ ThisOldGame.

He should be able to make a nice glass bezel for you.

I ENVY your new project!!

Keep us all posted on your progress.

Bitchen! I need a new monitor bezel.

I JUST finished the side art for Ghosts N Goblins, just about killed me. I will be applying it tomorrow.
I'll have these available for you guys too, just wanted to make sure it looked good on my machine first.

Some people have been using the 19 in 1 board for Ghosts N Goblins. I have both a dedicated GnG and a 19 in 1 machine in my gameroom and I can't tell the difference between them on GnG.

Can't wait to see the restore on this one. This game had some goofy styled art, then got real serious over the next few installations. Also isn't that ironically a 19" Dynamo HS-1 styled cab right next to it?

Ghosts N Goblins Art and 19 in 1

I have a dedicated and the cab looks the same. Mike's Arcade may still have NOS sideart, marquees and CPO's, Joy Monkey had the bezel art. Have Riche reverse print on plexi or glass. Original bezel is plexi, marque is also plexi.

If you use a 19 in 1 Jamma set it for single game mode, and you should be able to get continue working. Original boards are getting pricy. I think I have a couple of clone boards too but I am not selling them. Its one of the best games I have and hard to fine (took years).

Have fun as it is a great game.

I did pick up that cab next to it. It was a Data East dedicated cab. Currently restoring that one right now. I'm thinking that may just be my new Black Tiger home.
Now that I completed the CPO & decal set.:

here is a picture of my dedicated GnG cab...

As taken from my blog www.guscade.com:
"The game was distributed by Taito America, as well as Romstar. The game was distributed in two ways; sold as a kit with a generic romstar overlay, button stickers, pcb, marquee... However some did come in dedicated purple Taito cabinets."

Wow, incredible reproduction above!! I have only come across one of these cabs for sale ever, at auction even, and it was converted to a TMNT (with 4 player PCB lol). It still had original bezel, i regret every moment for not buying it. If anyone has cad drawings for this or dimensions, i would love to scratch build it too. I have a dedicated GNG board that needs a real home!

The dedicated GnG machine in tbbk's basement would be the one I puchased at the Illinois Superauction (after only a week of starting to collect arcade machines lol), seen here:

As you can see, I got it for only $250 despite the fact that it was working (still is) and people were playing it at the auction.

It actually was what I believe to be a product of Auctioneer error. He started the bidding on it, a few people were bidding (myself included), I bid a quick $250, and very quickily he did the "going once, twice, sold...", leaving several people going "Wait wtf just happened?"

Ask tbbk, I literally looked around and saw like 10 people looking stunned. I was overjoyed as that was the ONE machine at the auction I was really gunning for.

Also, I am super interested in a set of sideart for GnG that you are reproing fizgig. Mine is missing and I will definitely need a set when I get around to restoring it. Just tell me when and how much? :D

EDIT: I too have a black tiger machine, which I've been planning to set up right next to my GnG. It's a recent pickup that's in a defender cab, which still has the defender sideart under the black paint. Down the road, I'd love to either find a good empty cab or scratch build one for the Black Tiger and then de-convert the defender back to defender.

I used to have a dedicated GNG, but I sold it. After a while, I missed it, so I decided to build a mini version of the game in a Trimline cab, using the Taito artwork. I found a decent match for the purple/ blue in vinyl. It's a bit glossier than the laminate Taito used, but it looks good. I also used the vinyl as a temp place holder on the custom CP I built until I get and scan the NOS GNG CPO that Militiaman is sending me. I also have a good scan of the side art. I have to resize my items to fit the trimline cab, so the reproes out there now won't work for me.
