Who has a tile floor in their game room?

Love that wall mounted Pepsi machine! :D

I've got stained concrete down in our basement. The pinballs are pretty loud but the video games aren't too bad. One thing though .. the floor does tend to show scuffs pretty bad. I've got nylon feet under all my games, but even those leave behind slight marks.

I think a few guys that have concrete/tile floor use upside down carpet samples or felt sliders for their games.

This begs the question...."What was the reason it flooded?"

Chris

Well the previous owner built a porch over the old stairs and built a wall around it for flowers. Now when they did this they pulled the dirt from the back to the front leaving an incline. It would rain the water would be trapped and then it would start pouring in. I pulled the pavers regraded the dirt and boom no more flooding.

Are you going do the floor as one solid color? Cause if you are just paint a design, you could probably just get away with the aerosol cans.

Well, the stained concrete will give it a natural stone effect, so I think splashing some of the neon paint around like an abstract painting might look cool...

On Tighe's suggestion, I'm going to do an invisible UV reactive paint in between coats of sealer. I found a mom & pop company that is cheaper than Clear Neon and their customer service is amazing: www.blacklightworld.com I have some of their invisible blue and green paint being delivered tomorrow. I'll try and post when I get to that point.
