who has a quantum pcb..

almost.. i have gravitar programmed in, going to a local collectors place to copy the diferences for control panel and monitor orientation :D Then i will be!

Understood, the sides are identical in shape, with differences on the control panel mounting, the pieces behind it, the monitor panel for correct orientation, and few straight pieces. also has a lower bezel retainer, and a different sized bezel. Otherwise, same cab.
Wish i could afford it, so i'm looking to do a cabinet trade, thanks for the offer.

someone will be doing those eventually. looking at gathering other parts, so i can see about making them too, control panel, and bezel holder.

seems the rare stuff goes for such a premium, i thought i'd concentrate on some of the harder to get pieces. I assembled the first Reactor cabinet today :D

A manufactured cabinet will never hold the collectible value of the real thing though. For me it is like owning a real AC Cobra VS a kit car Cobra.

i could care less.. if it looks the same, it's the same to me. I'd rather have new than beatup any day. And i sell plenty of cabinets to prove Perf's statement wrong. I have a 2000 Cobra R clone i paid 5K for, looks just like the 55K original.

I agree that a manufactured cabinet wont hold as much value, but will still be worth alot. Also I dont think that the production of new cabinets will not effect the value of the originals. If I buy a quantium manufactured cabinet it wont be for resale, it will be because I want one in my collection. Its a very hard machine to find. If I can build one for $500 less than the value of an original.
