This is a Vintage Vectorbeam Space War standup Arcade Video Game

All of the sounds, explosions, thrust, cannons, and buttons work fine. The left half of the screen does not illuminate.

The video tube is good, but I'm told it is a elecrical connection that causes ships, stars, and bombs of the left side, illuminates in the middle

of the screen. I do not have the electrical knowledge to fix it.

Please, serious inquires only, NOW $200.00"

I've sworn off turning my garage into an arcade...and then I see things like this!

I didn't get it. But I'm still glad I moved to SoCal when it comes to this hobby. The pickens were much slimmer in MA.

I don't think that game was worth much more, if anything more, that what he was asking.

It's not that great of a game.

I guess I "got it".

I was just getting ready to drive over and pick it up Saturday morning, when I got an email "my older children grew up with the game and freaked when I told them it was being sold today".

win some, lose some.

He was probably lying and sold it to someone who offered more money.

I still don't think it was worth it. But $200 or whatever was paid ain't a lot of money anyway.

Translation: someone told him it was worth more $$.

A few months down the road, when you see it listed on Craigslist again, ask him how his kids feel. :D

Yeah, I thought so too at first.

But I spoke with these folks at length and am even helping one of the sons to fix it, but yes- at first I was pretty pissed.

It had been listed at 400 on CL for awhile before that and nobody bit- but 200 was jussst right.
