Who got the Funhouse at a Dayton "BLOW OUT SALE"??

OK, somewhat funny story, but I'm dying to know what it sold for.

So, I was browsing CL last Wednesday night and came across a "BLOW OUT SALE" with an "Arcade Game" and a "Pin Ball Machine".
Some very nice prices on other items and "Everything must go. Must make room for my new boat"

Heck, I would be in Dayton the next day, why not see what they were...
Keep in mind the ad says the following: "No early birds/ No camping in front of our house"
So I send an email asking what the game and pin are, to find out it was a Golden tee and a Funhouse, but both sold..... hmm... they stuck to thier no early bird guns there...

So I sent another email asking how much the funhouse sold for (I own a Funhouse, so why not see what one sold for). The response:
"well - I think I found out that I just got ripped off. The guy got a great deal and I would rather not say. I think I didn't know what I had"

Hmm... I just wonder how much it was.. was it a KLOV'er who got it?
Not sure of the "ripped off" statement if you named your own price.

It was a FUNHOUSE? I saw that ad go up and emailed them a few hours after asking what games so I could be there when they opened up the sale. My reply back didn't even say what machines they were, just that they were already gone.
Would love to know who got these...

yea, I'm not usually in Dayton, but was at the Hara Arena Hamvention this weekend.
Always do a little CL surfing prior to trips, I would have snatched a cheap Funhouse in a second!
Actually feel bad for the guy, someone must have dangled a few hundred bucks and he grabbed....
This is one of those rare times when someone got real lucky.
Curiousity is killing me on what the sale price of the FH was.

As far as good deals go, I now have a "bad" habbit of asking ops "Do you have anything cheap or broken?"
or looking for non-working games on CL, it's snagged me 3 or 4 sweet deals in the last month
($300 High Speed pin, $50 Ms. Pacman, $60 DK Jr. cocktail, $75 25" Dynamo with streetfighter CP for me to MAME).
Course I have to stop asking as I have difficulty passing a good deal and I am way out of space.

Sounds like I need to pick up some of your "bad habits." I haven't lived here that long, but I think its time I started researching who some of the Op's are in this area.

I can only hope that my new bad habit will have such great results as yours...

Funhouse was sold for $500.
It worked and was in good shape.
So for those that say Craigslist deals NEVER happen, keep looking!!
