Bought a Bosconian PCB awhile back, "assume non-working", as it is my 16 year old daughters favorite game. Finally have the opportunity to put it in a cab and just want it gone through and/ or repaired. Anybody capable interested?

Bosconian is Galaga with a few extra chips on the CPU board and with a totally different video board. It suffers from the same problems as Galaga: Poor sockets and crappy resistor packs along with tarnished/rusted pins on the custom ICs.

I repair them, but it's not cheap: $90 plus shipping.

However, I'm not taking on any new Galaga repairs until around end of August.

Well, it's one father-daughter bond left with my 17 year old, so money is not an object RJ, whatever it takes I would greatly appreciate it. So can I reserve a spot on the list or how does that work?

Be careful.. with a comment like that.. you'll get all sorts of guys coming out of the woodwork claiming they can fix your board for you.

(Not speaking about RJ... he obviously knows what he is doing.)
Just a general observation....

Yeah I thought the same thing after I typed it, fortunately I've been around long enough to know who can be trusted on here ;)

17 is legal in Texas, but I digress... ;) (There Jow, I said it!)

Just ping me towards the end of August and I'll be happy to help you with it.

My travel for September has been moved to Feb. so I'm good there.
