i cant help myself every time i drive down the road and see a truck or van with a bunch of big stuff i always have to look to see is they are hauling an arcade game, and every time i see a garage door open i slow down to look for arcade games im like a peeping tom of arcade games lol i guess im just hoping to bump into someone that can lead me to that holy grail score or a freebie. so am i the only arcade game stalker?

hehehehehe... ive done it for decades.... lots of people driving around thinking- "why is that guy looking so hard at the refrigerator in my truck?!"

The real question, though, is what do you do, if you actually 'see' one?

Do you have the balls to stop their truck? Or knock on their front door? LOL

if somethings out in their garage with all kinda crap ontop of it like it hasnt been used in years theres a good chance theyre too lazy to pull it out and post it for sale, wont miss it if its gone and would rather have a few bucks in their pocket then "it" in the garage

i did stop at a guys house one time when i was walking my dog i could see they guy had two games in his garage i just made small talk with him and was on my way, that was years ago now in my older age i have no problems stopping and asking i just need to find someone with a garage full of games lol

I have a whole checklist: Games, Jeeps, Sports Cars, Motorcycles
As many of us as there are, I find it very rare to drive past a house and see arcade games in the garage. Its happened perhaps twice.

Craziest thing I ever saw was a Ferrari 360 Modena in the garage of a house that was obviously worth way less than the car. That guy either had some crazy priorities or shady shit was goin' on!

I've never seen anyone with games in their open garage as I drove by, but I have passed a few on the highway. Got this one near Kalamazoo MI on the way out to the Funspot tournament in 2008. I think there was an auction that weekend in Saginaw MI, so that's probably where they were headed. The pin is a Star Wars (I think it's a Star Wars Trilogy, didn't get a good shot of it...hard to take pics going 60MPH down the highway :D )

I remember when I hauled my Gaplus cabinet home in the back of a pickup, I got a few WTF? looks from people when I went thru town.

I am definitely a game stalker. I'm an appliance repairman, so I drive through the local neighborhoods all the time anyway, so its real easy to just eyeball that open garage as you go by. I don't see a lot of games in people's houses but I always ask about them when I do. One time, a guy offered to let me play his Twister pin but I was running late, otherwise I would have played a quick game on it. Another time, I ended up with a free Space Invaders from a customer. Too bad I never got it working and sold it off. I keep hoping for that ever ellusive free game by the curb.

Someone tried to yoink my Discs of Tron from my girlfriend when I had the garage door open. I was inside at the time. She told him they're not for sale (she's a keeper!). I had someone do the same thing with my motorcycle, too.

I am always peeping in open garages as I drive by. But when I have the garage open when I am working on games, I cant stand it when people stare in MY garage. Call me paranoid, but I always think I am going to become the target of a grand theft or vandalism.

yeah i guess im looking for more than just games im a big jeep fan myself i regret selling my 89 wrangler had the 33 inch mud tires chevy 327 with a t 350 trans and a 4 inch lift man i miss that jeep. i thought buying a dune buggy would make up for it but its not the same so i think im going to sell the dune buggy and get another jeep. but i am hoping to find a garage full of games one day it just may lead to freebie i know it sounds cheap but hey i have lost a lot of money in this hobby someone can throw me a bone from time to time lol
