ok i just got a who dunnit, simple question for those who own one. in the back of the pf is a coil with a post that pops up to divert the ball down into the jet area. question is i have never seen my post pop up to get the ball into the jet area. it works in test mode so what game feature activates it to stand up? the ball never goes into the jet area at all. Is this a flaw in the software?

If it works in test but not during play, I would strongly suspect one or more of the playfield switches has a problem.

It is triggered to pop up by the ball rolling over one of the switches into that lane.

Go into Test - Switch Edges and check the function of the lane switches, both sides of the loop lane.

Do all of the switches register?

Do they register as the CORRECT switches?

switch

O ya never thought about a switch that triggered it, in test mode everything checks out but i didnt try each one in the outlanes near the pop up.
More than that I wanted to hear from someone about when the things pops up and how often during play

I owned a WHO?Dunnit for 2 years - it was my very first pin.

It pops up quite a lot during play to prevent a full orbit and drop the ball into the pop bumpers.

It's probably a switch problem.
