Well here is a real odd one on a Williams Who Dunnit pinball. This one had me going for a while, but I finally found it.

Problem:

Right side playfield General Illumination out (the orange and white-orange wires).

Cause:

Broken foil trace on the parts side of the driver board underneath fuseholder F109. The foil was broken at the right hand terminal of the fuseholder.

Solution:

I ran an 18 gauge jumper wire on the back (solder) side of the board from the affected fuseholder terminal to connector J120 pin 8.

Note: It wasn't until I unsoldered the fuseholder F109 that I saw the break in the foil. Just a hairline crack, but it was so close to the fuseholder terminal that any flexing of the board would knock out the lights on the playfield. I'm certain this problem could happen on other WPC driver boards and I don't think this was particular to Who Dunnit.
