I just fried a new "A" board by hooking the +12 up to the -12. POP! The board works fine, but without sound. I need someone to repair the audio section. My guess is that it needs a couple caps and maybe the audio amp replaced. Anyone up for the task?

These boards are too cheap to buy so they are throw away boards. Just replace it

At over $100 each, I think it might be worth saving.

Everything else works fine except for the sound.

Some repairs I've seen on pcbs run in the $75 range. At that much for a repair, you would probably be better off buying a new one and using this one as a test pcb or something...

Are you sure that it wasn't just one those "lousy" B boards, accounting for the missing audio in the first place? Sorry, I still get a laugh out of how EVERYONE has to insist that their Chinese in-1 board is a "A" quality board. I don't think that I have ever seen anyone claim to own a "B" quality board...
