Arcade Cup is unable to fix these. Anyone know where I can get these fixed?

The Nanao is from a Star Wars Arcade (the two player jetfighter one) and the Polo 2 is from a Biohazard Japanese machine.

yeah, probably means he doesn't have tubes on hand for testing. :(

for what it's worth, I've used PNL for a Polo 2 and they were able to fix it. it's an SVGA monitor in a photo machine we got... had it stored in a non-heated garage and it survived, so they must have done something right.

what's that one doing, just ticking and not firing up?

the Nanao I'm very surprised Chad can't do... there's shit tons of Sega games with them. what are the symptoms? I'm sure someone on here can steer you the right direction for that one at least. I reckon user cadillacman might know something about those, he's got a pretty large collection of Sega stuff and I think he may have had to fix his Virtua Fighter monitor once. don't quote me on that one though. :)

good luck.

A lot of candy cabs use a newer Nanao. They use an MS9 instead of a MS8 like VF. Not real common in the US. There aren't even cap kits available. You kinda have to make your own.

Joey at Jomac in Australia works on Nanao monitors. Also, he wrote a book that's sold at startechjournal.com on repairing Nanao and other more modern monitors.

ohhh

yeah, I don't know much about those. have some Daytonas with them. knock on wood!

Still working on acquiring the polo 2 monitor yoke... I am seeing many of these coming in I just don't have the original hardware for it.

As for the nanao it's a newer make / model that again I do not have the original hardware for. I fix plenty of the ms8 family. Trying to work in the newer monitors... Will be at an auction a week so I'll try to hunt down polo 2 at least.
