I need one for the Shark Attack I'll be restoring. VectorJunkie has the link to the MP3's of the sound bytes, I just need to put the right bytes on the right sides of the cassette. Can anyone do this?

I think you need to start with the correct type of cassette that is meant to loop. Beyond that you just need to record the audio to it. I have to imagine someone still sells looping cassettes on the net. Gotta be cheap too as I can't see them being worth much.

Loop

I need one for Thief. I have not researced it yet except for the sound files. I am going to try the pal people you mentioned.

just googled looping tapes and came across how to's on the topic. Didn't know you could make them your self but it looks relatively easy.

back in the day, i used to scotch tape (both sides) my broken cassette tapes back together after they got eaten.

worked great and could barely hear the splice spot with tape on it.

seems like you could find a short looping cassette tape someplace if original isnt available.

I am still looking for someone to do this for me. I now have a working and compatible Sanyo Auto-Reverse cassette player.
