Who are "Gameroom Essentials", and why did they steal a pic of my pin for their ad?

So I assume they are lazy, or a scam site as I see they stole a photo of my pins for their listing. Anyone know who these individuals are? http://www.gameroom.com.au

Better yet, they stole it from this site...

As of today (7/27/12), they removed my photo as requested. I thank them for that!

Hmmm, I have to confess. I stole some random arcade pics off the web for my full page flyer in the CAX program for arcade game rentals. I will apologize now in case anyone is offended. I had one day to get the flyer ready in time for the deadline.

Perhaps asking them might answer your questions.

Um, already did, waiting for a response.... Figured I'd ask if anyone here knew if they were legit...

I may have given them permission if they asked, (but probably not for a retail website) but just find it strange to find a pic of my basement during a google image search.

Reminds be bitd on ebay, i got this nasty message from a potential buyer, talking about how im a scammer because they already saw my pic in a listing from a different seller in a different state

TO which i replied and about went off the deep end. I explained that the other seller is questionable, that is my real honest item, and i can take more with myself in the pic to prove it. The other pic "thief" was honest enough to pull the picture he was using, but the damage was done and i lost the sale.

It's the Internet.. Google images has made it even easier to snag pics of whatever you want whenever you want.. Some sellers are lazy, or just scammers.. Instead of pulling out the shitty pins or arcades they might have in storage, they snag yours.. Happens all the time.

Watermark your photos, then they won't steal them as they're to lazy to photoshop them.. Most people will change the link to the stolen photo and point it to gay porn or someone taking a shit.. Hehe.. I've done it once to an eBay scammer, pics were changed and stayed that way for 5 days.. Awesome

Careful with the watermarking - I've seen more than one seller watermark their stuff to the point that I can't see the item properly. Yes, it's good to make them harder to steal, but if you go overboard, you are hurting your own sales.

Big watermarks that cover the whole pic are probably the worst, but always remember that you took the picture in order to sell the item, if you put the watermark off to the side of the item, then they have to over-crop the image to steal it, and it's easy to point out that you've got the original, while still keeping the item properly visible.

Yeah, I agree with over doing your watermark.. Bottom corner half circle usually does the job.. As long as it doesn't cover the money shot :)

Ahh, like when Jason Scott goatse'd half of myspace(http://ascii.textfiles.com/archives/1011) . I love stories where jerks get what's coming to them.
