I just picked up a SST and the right flipper flutters to the point i cant hold a ball.
I've adjusted the eos switch and can now hold a ball but when holding the flipper i can hear a slight buzzing, and the coil gets hot after a game.
I did order new coil, eos switches and stops. My question is = is there a trick to adjusting them?
Is something else causing the coil to get hot?
So far ive replaced the coils, stops and eos switches and i get the same thing.
So i decided to take a voltage reading and the right flipper is not going low when held.
Im thinking it may be the 20n10l transistor because there isnt much else there,i checked the resistor and it checks out then the path goes to u2 and im guessing thats ok.
Any thoughts?
This is only in the right flipper, the left goes low when held.
One last thing ,i checked the voltage coming from the bridge rectifier to the flipper circuit and it is almost 73 volts the book says 50 volts to the coils. Is this ok or high?
