I never ended up doing anything with this playfield. It is Steve Ritchies first Whitewood playfield. I got this several years back. I am in Northern, IL. Looking to get $278.00 , which is less than I originally paid. Please note it is still in the crate. It also contains Steves signature in two places.

That's pretty interesting pinball memoribilia there....wonder how many whitewoods they actually produced for this game? It was his first pin, and IPDB says only 350 actual production units made?! So what WOULD you do with something like that, other than stick it up on a shelf, just for curiosity sake?

There is an AA project pin that I could pick up for 100 or less, but I don't really know jack squat about Atari pins...

I too do not know a lot about the Ataris. I fixed a SuperMan and another Atari sometime ago. Just do not see them in the wild.

I didn't realize that this was a rare game. I was looking forward to getting one some day. I would like and Atarians too.

Edit:
Some collector would go crazy for this item!

Wow - this is cool!

I was always a little skeptical when it came to the production #'s of Atari pins. If this was the case, I swear at least 200 A.A's reside in Illinois.

My opinion the rarity should go as follows:
Superman (awesome pin)
Airborne Avenger
Space Riders
Middle Earth
Atarians (own)
Time 2k (want to own - never seen one)

*This list is based on actual units that went into production, so no Road Runner or 4x4.

I've currently got a Project AA.. I haven't done anything to it other than clean out the mouse house..

It's definitely a machine, maybe one of these days I'll get a chance to work on it.

You guys realize that this the first piece of whitewood that Steve Ritchie ever worked on? This should be in a pinball museum!

Bump. this is still available..

I did pm you,I was asking if you will ship to NY.it would be a good addition to the colehvac1 collection!did u receive it,is there shipping on this item?

I would assume there was more than 1 whitewood produced for AA...it's awesome either way, but if this was the FIRST one for AA and it was actually verifiable....yeah, I kind of feel the same way...should be at a museum. =\

I wish I had the money to buy it, lol. Rollergames, Time Machine, and LOTR sucked up all my money!

Take a look at the photo closely, it is signed first white wood.

I had an AA. It was not a very fun game at all. I shopped mine and it was working well except I could never get the scoreboard going. The best part was the artwork.
Nice score on the piece of history to whoever got it.
