Saw this White Water through the window of the Fiasco cafe the other day. This was certainly a surprise since I am in Oslo Norway. I went back and played the machine this morning. It was working great and was in great condition unlike some of the pins I have seen and played in the wild in the US. It costs 10 NOK per credit which is about $1.75.

I had never played White Water before and it was kicking my ass for the first 3 games. The fourth game lasted a while and yielded a free game. Love hearing the knocker even more when paying almost $2 a game. :)

Anyway, just thought I would share my find. If anyone is ever in Oslo, it is on the walk between the Central train station and the central bus terminal next door to the Radisson Blu Plaza.

Nice one. I thought I was going to find a Whitewater in the wild a few weeks ago at Smith Mountain Lake Va (going by pictures on the website) but it turned out they only had a Mars Attacks.

I was really surprised it was a Williams at all. Expected it to be a Stern. So it was a pleasent surprise to be a good Williams title. I'm actually here house hunting and found a place about a mile away. Now I know where to get my pin fix over the next couple years while my pins are at the in-laws.

I regret selling mine a few years ago. I can still hear it: "Don't sell me, ya wiener!".

Excellent find!
Our local Diary Queen had that title for a while - back in the late '90's - and I played it all the time.
It is one of my favorite pins, and I hope to own one someday soon.

Wow....no lock bar either. That's Norway for ya. A closer look reveals the 'touch ups' to a life in another country where it once had lock bars.
I have a good friend who lives in CA goes to Norway every year with his wife, hangs with friends there. Did you score yourself a nice hot Scandinavian woman, they're everywhere over there. yowza!

Yes they are everywhere! But no, I'm bringing my wife and son from the states with me for the two years. The women have very impressive posteriors from all of the walking and eating healthy. :D

I'm thinking about bringing a game or two over, but I will have to do something about the 220V over here. I guess anything with a switcher would be easiest unless the Euro KLOV brothers have the right liner supplies available.

Edit: As a side note... If you come over here or anywhere outside of the US, don't take a bunch of pictures of the US Embassy. I was detained for over 20 minutes for doing so... It isn't illegal, but they will have to check you out and validate your identity, story, etc.
